This item was purchased in an effort to create more organized storage in a very limited space. My home is the equivalent of a master bedroom with an en suite and kitchenette, so my living room is the bedroom and dining room and...you get it. This was bought to replace a shelf unit as an upgrade, and it's better than expected. It requires assembly and I highly recommend having someone you work well with to help you get it done faster and easier. It's not difficult, just heavy enough to be better done by 2... I did 95% of it alone, so it is possible. It's sturdy and spacious without overwhelming the area it is in. I was incredibly pleased by how these shelves turned out. They didn't cost a whole lot, but they are incredibly sturdy and will clearly last a good chunk of time. They weren't hard to put together, just time consuming. But they are very nice and big, and are exactly what I wanted!

It was a little complex to put together, but was expected since they're shaped for a corner and wind up being so spacious. They're quite sturdy and so so stylish. Now I can get more materials to read! The seller was great too. FedEx decided to deliver my first set to oblivion, and the seller was quick to resend a set out for me. This shelf is exactly what I needed! Also an excuse to buy more books! Pros: directions were pretty easy to follow. it's a pretty sturdy product. the product matched the description. Cons: no little stickers to put over the screws showing. (going to have to use my Cricut to remedy that). The allen wrench provided was AWFUL. thankfully i have plenty (every IKEA purchase!) the thing was stripped by the 3rd screw. The screws were lettered but i wish they were in the instructions. thankfully there were only a few to use so it was pretty easy to figure it out. I did put this together by myself and it really wasn't that hard. I already said it looks great....and it does. The price was right too. Glad I made the purchase...now to purchase more books. ... show more

We wanted custom corner shelves with a desk underneath to make a little reading nook, but paying a carpenter to build what we wanted would have cost a pretty penny. I stumbled across these and thought, for the price, why not? I placed the order and they arrived looking like FedEx had dropped kicked them off the delivery truck. Pieces were badly damaged, some broken in half. I even discovered later that one piece was entirely missing. I didn't want to go though the hassle of returning, so I contacted the seller and asked if they could send replacement parts. They sent an entire new unit! Putting it together was pretty easy. It took me about 2 hours. Pay attention to the pictures of the "F" packages, because there are three of them and are not labeled as f1, f2, or f3 on the packages but are in the instructions. You may want to use a flathead screwdriver on one of those f pieces instead of the Phillips they include, and a drill made things much easier as well. I also had a couple of shelves that didn't have stickers on them, so I had to pay close attention to the photos and figure it out. It is definitely not a super heavy duty unit, but it seems pretty sturdy. Overall I'm very pleased and am really grateful to the seller for their amazing service and response time. ... show more

Edit: we figured it out finally and we love it it is durable and beautiful and I don’t regret buying at all to us the instructions were confusing but anyways yeah totally worth it I’m not sure if we have a wrong piece or if the instructions are wrong but some how stuff keeps getting mixed up I’m about to pack it back up and just return it I really love how looks in the pictures but for some reason it’s just not coming together :( ... show more
