Wrong unit was received but after a couple of emails and pictures correct unit was sent. Assembly was straightforward. I have learned to soap screws first and installed screws in shelf then backed out and make assembling easier.

I wouldn't have been able to assemble it myself so I purchased that service. The finished product left a crack in one of the cardboard composite shelf edges, and it wasn't fit perfectly into the metal bars, so it was slightly crooked as well (see the two different sides). He didn't call me into the room to show me how that happened or how it fit improperly while he was assembling it. I've had other furniture assembled and the technicians would consult me along the way if something wasn't right. Upon finishing he called me in to have a look, and i asked him if he could fasten it to the wall (earthquake county). He could not. Then I realized he neglected to install the rollers, which upset me since I purchased it for that feature! He said it would make it less safe for the grandkids (?)! (There are locks on the wheels for when not in use). He was clearly eager to leave so I but the wheels in a drawer for later, let him go. Since it's not strapped to the wal, it leans forward the higher up it goes. To protect the kids from earthquake fall-out the best i could, I put 40 lbs of cat litter in the bottom shelf, and called it a day. Just glad I have somewhere keep my books and knickknacks out of the children's reach. I chose it for it's size specs so can't complain about that. I have bought 4 Ironck items (bakers rack, tv shelf, book shelf, and computer desk). I waited to buy each item to make sure these were good quality and I was pleasantly surprised. These are not cheap garbage shelves and so they do cost a little more than the rock bottom similar shelves you find on here. You get what you pay for and I plan on buying more. ... show more

I know they gave the dimensions in the description but it looks so much bigger in the pics. It’s was easy to assemble and it looks great, and I will 100% still be able to use it. It was just smaller than expected.
