I typically have help when putting furniture together but I didn’t feel like waiting until the weekend for my husband, so I figured, hey, why not try it out myself. Guys, if I can do it by myself, you can do it too lol. It’s a lot of screws to do by hand, but it’s super easy once you know which pieces face which way. As far as the product, it’s quite sturdy (it is wobbly on my hardwood flooring but most of my furniture is, so it’s not the product). Nothing came broken, all the holes where lined up and where it needed to be. Make sure you don’t over tighten though. It was my mistake, but I tightened one too much and slightly cracked the wood. Otherwise, I like the open back (to use the plug on the wall), it’s modern looking and I trust putting heavier items on this. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good bookshelf! ... show more

Nice shelf. Easy to put together. So easy that I put the first part together 3 times. 😆 Learn from my mistake… Pay attention to the holes on the metal braces. There is a front and back and they are not interchangeable.

To be frank, I wasn’t expecting too much from Amazon furniture, but this shelf really surprised me. The wood used is absolutely beautiful and feels very high quality, and the shelf went together very easily and sits very sturdy.
