I typically have help when putting furniture together but I didn’t feel like waiting until the weekend for my husband, so I figured, hey, why not try it out myself. Guys, if I can do it by myself, you can do it too lol. It’s a lot of screws to do by hand, but it’s super easy once you know which pieces face which way. As far as the product, it’s quite sturdy (it is wobbly on my hardwood flooring but most of my furniture is, so it’s not the product). Nothing came broken, all the holes where lined up and where it needed to be. Make sure you don’t over tighten though. It was my mistake, but I tightened one too much and slightly cracked the wood. Otherwise, I like the open back (to use the plug on the wall), it’s modern looking and I trust putting heavier items on this. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good bookshelf! ... show more

To be frank, I wasn’t expecting too much from Amazon furniture, but this shelf really surprised me. The wood used is absolutely beautiful and feels very high quality, and the shelf went together very easily and sits very sturdy. Only complaint is the extreme amount of styrofoam that got everywhere when I opened the box. Maybe try bubble wrap? ... show more

Construction is simple and it’s slightly customizable as far as the shelves. As a stand alone it’s sturdy but it does come with wall anchors. You should get it if it’s on sale.

Wow! This thing has changed my entire living room. Got rid of a short media table, speaker stands, and an album storage stand. Super easy to assemble (40 minutes), and what a great value for it's price. Also, the amount of joints this thing has allows you to hid wires in almost any configuration. I’m in love with this shelf. I’ve been looking for the perfect bookshelf for over a year. I finally found this one and just loved it. It’s perfect for my little townhome! Super easy to put together. It would go by quicker it you had two people but I was able to put it together by myself no issue.

Much taller then my old shelf. Easy to put together and came with both Allen wrench sizes needed. Light weight but strong enough for my need. Seems sturdy enough not being against a wall.

Looks exactly as it does in the photo. Not too difficult to assemble but a bit of a task for just one person. Two of the black metals frame pieces had holes in the wrong place—a screw is supposed to go through the frame piece on both sides and into the wood shelf. Well the holes in the frame we angled and the wood piece would have most CERTAINLY split. Luckily with a metal drill bit, it was a semi-easy fix. I just drilled new holes to make a level entry and/or exit point. Overall, 4 stars. ... show more
