This mirror was a finishing touch to my little slice of heaven. I did all the work myself on my basement and bathroom. I am not a contractor just a DIY father that was taught how to use a tool correctly. That being said I do like the mirror and how it finished out the space. Pro's As a techy guy, I like buttons and gizmos that are unique and make my spaces different. This mirror hits that on the head. The back light is super cool and what drew me to it in the first place. My bathroom space is fairly large so the shower really does not fog up the mirror much, but the defogger feature is nice if you had a smaller bathroom. You can change the brightness level to your application. Con's This is absolutly a 2 person installation job. I was able to get it done all by my lonesome but this size of mirror you ABSOLUTLY need to hit studs for stability. The mounting hardware is a bloody joke. I would not trust it to hold a picture. I had to install studs in the wall (after the wall was finished) just for mounting. I tried 4 different mounting hardware prior to cutting open the wall and all pulled right out of the drywall. The mounts are 4 point key hole spots on the back that you have to get perfectly aligned or your screwed. Next comes the power setup. The power wire is in the middle of the back and requires you to cut a hole in the wall to accommodate for the wire because it is a flush mount system "i.e.key holes". I did splice into the vanity lights so it is switched and does come on with the light. THIS DOES NOT HAVE A PLUG! If you do not have any electrical experience this mirror is NOT for you. It is a hard wire application and you might need an electrician for help. Overall I do like the mirror despite the overwhelmingly terrible installation process. They could have done a bit more R n D in that aspect. Semi pro tip....Make a templet, cut the top of the box off and lie the mirror on it. Trace outline of thr back of the mirror. Cut it out carefully so it keeps the size. Tape it to the back of the mirrow. Poke holes at mounting points, then use the cardboard to set position (leveling) and mounting points on the wall. I purchased two of these mirrors for bathroom remodels and I am very happy with the look and style. I only gave this mirror four stars because the mounting anchors that come with it are total crap and you will have to purchase more appropriate drywall anchors. There were no instructions online on how to mount it otherwise I would have installed blocking while I had the walls open during the remodel. This mirror mounts via screw slats that are pre-drilled into the mirror frame. This requires you to measure the distance between each of the mounting holes and duplicate that distance exactly on your wall where you mount the drywall anchors. Easier said than done! In the end I decided to use tape to get accurate measurements. I stretched masking tape across the back of the mirror frame and punched holes where the screws needed to mount. I then took that same piece of tape and placed it on the wall and leveled the holes with a laser level. Then when it came time to mount this mirror on the wall, I took another piece of tape and made a hash mark exactly where the drywall screws met the anchoring holes on the back of the mirror. This will allow you to know where to line the mirror up properly in one go as opposed to trying to place it on the wall and realize that you keep missing the mounting holes. A mirror this large required two people but it was not exceptionally heavy. Overall this mirror was a good value. It looks fantastic and stylish and works well mounted to a wall switch. If you do not mount it to a wall switch the power and defrost light will be constantly illuminated with no way to turn them off. I recommend these mirror but just be careful that you don't chip the corner. It comes with protectors but they were not enough to keep from damaging it during shipping or install. ... show more

It was a little heavier than I expected, but I did 90% of the installation myself, and just had my husband help me lift it up after I had the bracket mounted. A hardwired it to the light switch, so I leave the button on at the mirror and there is about a 5 second delay before the light turns on after the light switch has been flipped, but that's a minor detail for me as there is a second light in the bathroom. As pictured the anti fog feature keeps the center of the mirror fog free during showering, and helps the rest of the Fog clear quickly after a shower. It's a 5 out of five for me for the price! ... show more

This mirror is really nice looking, the appearance of the lighted section against the glass looks really clean and high end. The mirror arrived undamaged, I wasn't sure if that would be an issue having a glass/mirror light shipped to me. It looks great on my wall. However, its not as bright as I was hoping it would be. I installed this in a small 1/2 bath and was hoping it could serve as the only light in the room. There is even a window in this small space. Unfortunately it is not that bright to light up the small space without an additional light. It also gives off a cooler light and I like my bathrooms to have a warmer light. ... show more
