Fromrl the title Im African American. I have a 4c curly textured afro. My hair is very thick (i.e. When I used to get relaxers to straighten my hair Silky smooth I've broken a wooden & plastic brush 😣). Per YouTube I found like 2 other African American women with thicker curls, similar to mine. Reviews were positive & made me a little more optimistic. My fears were Confirmed. PROBLEMS: 1. It has good stretch, but even with my hair slicked back to make it smoothed down & very pliable I struggle to get around All of my hair 2. When I finally get the band on it's a Little tight, no matter how high I try to pull it upwards. 3. Taking it off isn't Always a cake walk. Sometimes my curls Can get tangled in the loops. I know they offer a multi colored pink & I think purple bobble via for extra strength, but I'm concerned it still wont have enough stretch. Want to love the product, but could use some tweaking for other demographics.

I have fine hair and while it is not thin, it is not luxuriously thick. These are super easy to use! They magically hold in place even when sleeping! They are easy to remove ! Within hours, I tossed all my other holders in the trash!

I've been meaning to try this product out for some time now, and I'm so excited I did! I'm a mom dealing with postpartum hair loss and regular elastics would just yank out my hair. Not these ones! They do great with gripping my hair...which is now a days always up in a messy bun or pony tail. The grip is strong enough to keep my hair in place, but there's no tugging feeling on my head. Also, the added plus of less noticeable marks left when my hair is up for longer. It only needs to wrap twice to keep hair in tact and it works all day! Definitely keeping this in my go to for gifts for new moms or little add on to basket gifts and etc. Highly recommend this product!

I've been using these for about a month. I have long unruly wavy hair, and they work great. I no longer have chunks of hair stuck to my ties. Also I thought these might stretch out, and be unusable after a few uses. But the two I've used are barely any different from before use.
