I "upgraded" from a 4k QLED samsung Q6 tv that I have had since 2018 that was 2× the price then. I chose to get this new TV based on reviews and to see HDR10 in action on my series x. I would say the picture quality and input times are fairly similar, but this tv does color much better than my samsung when the settings are adjusted correctly. The samsung does not get bright enough to make the qled interface worth missing the HDR10 tech this and newer TVs offer IMO. Great value for a first or gaming tv.
