Often, items you get don't match the product description; I find this to be especially true with photos that make something look brighter, bigger, etc. than the actuality turns out to be. That is also the case here...but in reverse. These tiles are actually much more colorful and vivid in person than in the photos. Don't get me wrong-the colors are what they are supposed to be, just better (unless you prefer something dull). We had a very small area that actually needed new tiles and now four of these are safely installed here (we will keep the fifth for some as yet undetermined purpose). We had a friend put in the tiles for us and he said that installation was easy. Tiles should theoretically last years if not decades. These tiles are not in a heavily trafficked area. Before installation they were flexible, not rigid. Obviously, I have no idea how long these particular tiles will last, but from the look and heft of them I do expect it to be for a decent period of time. While they last I shall certainly enjoy looking at them; should you decide to get these tiles I think you will be well pleased with them as well. ... show more
