The woodwork was very well done. There were no chips or cracks anywhere. It is a nice alternative than a typical urn. TW: The large held what was about 200 lb easily. I had to search for a while to find one that would "fit." It was a perfect choice.

We got this for my father in law after he passed away and I must say that it is truly beautiful!! Very well constructed and solid! It was a little tricky taking the screw out of the bottom to slide it open but once we got it figured out it was all perfect! Thank you so much for this!!

It's never a pleasant time to purchase an item like this. I am extremely pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the box. Very solid and heavy. Makes a beautiful symbol of our loved one. I also want to add to open it the screw is recessed. If you dig it out a little bit and use a small Phillips screwdriver it will come out. We contacted the people taking care of our cremation and they offered to open it for us. But we removed it with the small Phillips head screwdriver and then it slid out.

The urns at the funeral home was horribly expensive and we just needed something to present our loved one during the service. He was buried in this urn. Was a great option that looked really nice. 150lb man (ashes) fit in the medium.

Received it quickly and wood looks nice, although there were a couple very minor nicks on the wood. The one I received appears to have been opened by someone else before sending to me because the interior wrapping was not fully in place. Found that the sliding bottom panel was very difficult to open. After removing the screw I had to carefully tap the bottom with a hammer to get it loose and out. It appears the sliding bottom panel is just slightly too wide. I'm guessing that someone else had the same issue and therefore returned it (and it was subsequently sent to me). I decided to try to fix it on my own. I took a sanding block and carefully sanded down the bottom panel edges to provide more clearance for it to slide. That pretty much took care of the issue (still a bit of a tight fit).
