I was looking for a wig like the one Beyonce been wearing lately like on the cover of her last album but of course I don’t have her budget. The blond version available had ugly chunky highlights, very 90s, no thank you. So I just got the black instead. I’m not a wig person at all so I don’t know what’s normal or not. The last wig I bought was 20 years ago and I’m head was so damn big it hurt to wear. So I was worried this would be too small but no, it’s too big for my big head. How? I’m happy it’s not tight but even after fastening the straps in the back I could almost pull the front down to my eyebrows and I got a big forehead. My hair is short but I put the cap on to lay my hair flat but it didn’t matter. The top of the wig was puffed up. I saw the pictures of other reviews and a lot of them have the same conehead thing happening but seem to like any way, and don’t mention the cone on top of their heads at all. I guess I thought maybe they didn’t lay their hair down under the wig or something. Is that normal? Even pulling the front down as far as it would go, it was still coning up too. I wasn’t expecting to look natural but it looks so weird. Like I said I’m not a pro at laying wigs down but I’m gonna try to make it work, watch some YouTube’s videos about laying down wigs, maybe wear a headband, scarf or beanie over it. Other than the puffy conehead thing it looks awesome. I only wore it at home for 2hours after I combed it out. After flipping and swinging it around it got tangled about but it still looked cute. I only plan on wearing it to a party or concert, not 8+ hours at work, so it’s fine. If it just laid flat it would be perfection. Guess I shouldn’t expect perfection for $18. The quality was amazing and it actually looked real, but it tangled easily and all I was doing was trying to install. There is an extremely tiny piece of lace in the front and I’m unsure why it’s there. It was extremely soft, but once I had it on, I wore it around my house and it kept tangling. There is also an issue with the back of it, it was big and wouldn’t fit properly around my head and I ended up pinning it, but the comb, wouldn’t secure it either. The media could not be loaded. Wore it to the last Beyoncé concert and got mistaken for her like 4 times hahah jk but it was a great wig and Id get it again. It fit over my locs. Kiiiiinda small but you can definitely adjust it and make it work for you. 🐝🪩
