I got these at a pretty good price after using the 30% off coupon. They arrived on time and in good shape. The black carrying bag had some kind of discoloration or mold spots on it which was kind of off-putting that they would pack it that way. Luckily, it wiped off with a damp rag. There are no instructions or guide to using them but it's not difficult to figure out. I took them out for a mile hike and they seemed to work well but, at one point one of the bindings across the top of my boot loosened and I had to ratchet it up again. Not sure why it did that. They aren't heavy but as expected they take a bit of learning to walk with them and not bang them together. Hopefully these will last several seasons. Time will tell. This is my first pair of snow shoes, wasn’t real sure I would like snowshoeing. Turns out I do, I’ve use these about six times going about 3 miles per trip. I went with a 25 inch Shoes, I’m 5’9” And weigh 180. If I were to do it again I will probably go with the 27 inch version. Overall I’m satisfied, I consider this a decent beginner set, I’ll probably invest in some better shoes before next winter. There were no instructions so it took a while to figure out the bindings, and the weak link in my opinion is the heel strap, Has a tendency to come loose. I would not recommend ordering this as a gift to the same address where the person stays. It stays exactly what the product is on the side of the box so ruins the gift aspect of the person sees. Mine did not but was very close! In addition, when we opened it, the bag it comes with for the snow shoes was moldy!! We sprayed it and washed and it has gone away so that is good. ... show more

Easy to put on and take off very good snowshoe. I love how it's able to have the hinge in the back for flexibility but also has a bar. That'll flip up and lock onto your boot so it doesn't flip back and forth. Great value for the money I spent. I've used them a few times now. No complaints. Great product. Arrived quickly, well constructed and high quality. We used them right away and they worked wonderfully. Really like that the skis and poles are fit well in thr travel bag they come in so you can easily transport to the mountain!

unfortunately, weather warmed and snow melted before we could actually get out and give these a really good test. but from a brief walk around the yard, seemed to work fine. a bit ridiculous that the collapsible poles provided do not fit in the carrying bag, but fairly minor issue. but if going to provide the bag, at least make sure all the pieces fit! ... show more

Still trying to figure how to strap untie after. searched Youtube but no luck so far. If they (manufacturer) put some sort of video how to manage straps, it would be so much better.
