I bought this for my friends shower because I use to massage my sons stomach when he had gas pains and it really helped. I took it out of the box because I wanted to give it to her with the batteries installed and assembled. I was sure what to expect - thought it might just be just vibration - but it’s actual little massage balls that move around in circles under the strap and feels so gentle. I also didn’t have to assemble it - came right out or the box in a carry bag. Only thing I would change is the zebra toy doesn’t face baby - but everything else is great - including the sounds! This puts my nephew to sleep really quickly. It does require some assembly so make sure to test the sturdiness before putting your baby on this in case you missed a step. The setup is not to bad. It does not take long to assemble this. It does require 3 C batteries which are NOT provided. There is no way to plug this device in to get it to work. How long the battery last is determined by the quality of the battery you install. The battery installation is easy and it is secure so it will not bounce out when the mechanism is working. The rocker is not very fast nor does it go very high or low so it is not something you have to worry about fingers getting caught or anything like that. You can control the speed slightly. I like that it plays sound and it has toys hanging for my nephew to look at and play with. You can turn the sound off or on depending on what you want. It will just loop the music and it is very mellow. The material is very comfortable for my nephew and it is easy to take off and put in the wash as needed. It seem to do okay in the dryer but I would recommend air dry. There is a seatbelt that can be adjusted so your baby does not roll off or anything. This is only for up to 6 months or hits the weight limit whichever comes first. It also has pads on the bottom so it does not slide. It does not vibrate heavily. Overall this seat is pretty nice. It will last you for about 6 months or so depending on how fast your child grows. Do not push it past the weight. It is secure but it is meant for up to a certain weight. It is supportive and the rocking motion is not too much where it will make the baby throw up or anything. My nephew fall asleep pretty fast on this thing. It is also easy to remove the covers so you can wash them whenever needed. It does not shrink in the wash. ... show more

I wasn't sure if my daughter would like this, but we have been pleasantly surprised with how well it puts her to sleep and calms her down when she gets fussy. The gentle rocking and vibration are an awesome combination, plus she likes looking up at the sloth toy while she's in it lately. I do kind of hate that the only way to power it is with 3 C batteries, which we had to go out any buy since they aren't included, but the upside is that it makes the bouncer a lot more portable. I can put it in the bathroom floor with her in it while I take a shower or wash dishes and keep an eye on her, which is the main thing I've been using it for. Overall, for the price, the quality and usefulness you get in return is definitely worth it. Overall, this is a versatile, good quality bouncer/rocker. Firstly, this seat can rock and bounce! How great is that? It is very sturdy which I appreciated. The control pad is on the seat and is easy to access. It does require 3 C batteries which is a bit hefty, but they last for a while. The seat has a secure harness to keep baby safe. The fabric is soft, smooth, and doesn't get overly hot. I love the cushioning. It even comes with a toy bar to hang a toy or two for stimulation. I like that the seat plays a variety of songs and sounds to keep baby engaged. It also comes with a carrying bag for even easier transport while keeping the seat safe from damage. As a father of 4, we’ve had a number of bouncy seats in our home, but my kids are well out of that stage now. But when my sister-in-law had a baby that would be spending time at our home, we wanted to get another chair to stay here, and I was blessed enough to have the opportunity to test out the Ingenuity Happy Belly Rock-to-Bounce Seat, and it has worked out great! Size and Fit: My niece was born prematurely and, at 3 months old, weighs just 8 lbs (just over 4 lbs at birth). Finding a bouncy seat that would accommodate her tiny frame has been a challenge for my SIL, but this one fits her perfectly. My SIL has said that this is the first seat they've tried that provides the right amount of support and comfort for their little one and she doesn't slip and slide around. Features: The built-in music and vibrations are a big hit with my niece, and my sister-in-law says the vibrations seem to be particularly soothing on her belly. It apparently has helped things “move along” ;-). Versatility: One of the cooler things about this bouncy seat is its versatility. It can be used as a stationary seat or as a rocker. The rocker seems to be the preferred setting so far, but it’s nice to have the option to switch. Overall, this seems like a great chair, especially for our unique use case. I remember our bouncer when our daughter was young...similar concept here, just better. The addition of built-in vibration and music is amazing to promote soothing and comfort. The mobil is cute and the material is durable and easily cleanable. It feels well made and sturdy.
