I’ll start by saying it was very easy to set up. You start by putting the batteries in the battery holder. Then you get the costume on and put the blower inside. The costume inflated quickly. The air blower was powerful enough to keep the suit inflated. The only reason I didn’t give the full five stars is because the ostrich head would fall over easily. However, as long as you hold onto the reins, then you can keep it in an upward position if it’s starts to fall over a bit. Also, I had to adjust the elastic belt part around my waist as tightly as I could in order to keep the costume from falling down. I am short (5’2) so this fit with my feet inside the ostrich feet perfectly, however, if you are a very tall person, your feet would probably stick out a bit from the bottom of the ostrich costume. There are holes in the feet of the costume for your feet to go through. Since I was so short, I didn’t even need to use the holes to stick my feet out of the bottom. ... show more

This is a pretty darn fun costume. I typically go a bit darker with my Halloween costumes however I was considering something a bit more jovial and fun with my daughters for their trunk or treat and this fits the bill. The fan works well and holds the air well. The foot coverings work quite well in covering your shoes to make it appear as if you have hoofs. And overall the costume is just pretty fun and lighthearted. The included battery pack is easy to use and put in a pocket while the costume is worn. The only two qualms I have with this costume are one, I wish the drawstring was a bit better for the waist. When walking it can slide down a bit so you have to tighten it up pretty well and I ended up having to put a slip knot in it in order for it to stay on my waist and keep the air in. My number two would be the Hat. The hat is just kind of terrible and looks nothing like a cowboy hat. Looks more like a beige witches hat, LOL. Other than those two minor issues it's a fun costume and I think it's a pretty decent deal for the price at just around $36 currently.
