This light gets INCREDIBLY bright in turbo mode. Whereas it doesn’t last very long in this 13000 lm state, the burst is plenty to demonstrate its power, and burn holes through many paper and plastic products (from 4-6” away). Despite its limited time in this extreme brightness, one of the best things about this light is that it CAN sustain 2-3k lumens for much longer than any other similarly sized lights. Besides that, I don’t use the 13k mode for general illumination, at that brightness it’s actually a great tool for self defense. I work late nights and a small restaurant that’s open after the clubs and bars close, and at that time there are always fights. One look at this light immediately before or at the start of a fight and everyone stops what they’re doing and covers their eyes. The strobe mode intensifies this effect, and I have yet to find someone who can stand to have it blaring in their face. If you are looking for a non-physically harmful self defense tool that won’t choke out a whole building the way pepper spray does, this is it! ... show more

Extremely bright flashlight! Somehow, they managed to harness the power of a small sun, in a package that's less than 5 inches in length. It fits well in the pocket, has great battery life if used on the lower settings, and is clearly made of quality materials. Be aware, its extremely floody, as in zero hot spot; so the throw isn't incredibly long, but it more than makes up for it, in brightness. Turbo mode gets hot, very quick, though. Of course, that's to he expected, with that amount of light, pouring out of such a small package. Bottom line, if you're a flashlight enthusiast, you won't regret the purchase! If you're just a person, in need of a decent light, this is overkill to the extreme, but you get what you pay for! ... show more

This is an amazingly bright flashlight, it’s the smallest brightest flashlight I’ve used, I think the lumens is probably as represented. My critique is it gets quite hot on the turbo mode in a very short time, to be expected I suppose, but the dealbreaker really for me is the recharging method which requires the removal of the battery. I’m optimistic that future iterations will run cooler and have more brightness – and a simpler direct plug-in battery charging method. ... show more

    • Flashlight is not really designed to work at full power for long.

Just a problem of expectations. Perceived the flashlight was much larger and could work at full brightness for much longer. It is not really designed to work at full load, it gets too hot very fast and battery runs out very fast. Not sure the information is at the Amazon site but should clearly show size (measures) and real running time at the different loads. ... show more

Very impressed with the light output from a relatively small light. Seems about as much output of a thrunite TN 36 limited but much smaller. 13000 lumen doesn’t last a long time.

The battery has to be removed to charge and it short circuited mine - and burned my hand - after only a week of use. For $100, I’m unimpressed.
