Absolutely love this mirror. The LEDs are nice and bright, and the touchscreen works great. It’s fairly easy to install if you have basic electrical skills as it has to be hardwired. Can’t really say how well this works at not fogging up when you’re in the shower because we have this in a downstairs bathroom and there is no shower in there. It is only a sink and a toilet. I do plan on getting one for our upstairs master bathroom, and will update on how the anti-fog works. ... show more

review for: ImageYou 20x28 Inch Wall Mount Backlit Bathroom Vanity Mirror with LED Light Over Sink, Touch Screen Smart Dimmable Anti-Fog Light Up Makeup Mirror for Farmhouse Restroom Dressing Washing Room The mirror has 3 "touch" buttons on the front of the mirror: on/off; brightness; and warmer (to defog). this is the coolest thing. i really like that the blue is bright, but not annoying. The buttons are responsive and hopefully will weather time in a moist environment and numerous cleanings. I really wanted to like this. i am older and i wanted to have a mirror that had the light to help me see things better without having to use a flashlight or a separate 'make up' mirror. However, I have a medicine cabinet, so i was going to mount this in a corner so 1) i could reach it; and 2) so i could leave the medicine cabinet alone. However, the lighting on this mirror is an led rope light mounted to a frame behind the mirror, so it requires a wall to really get the brightness factor since the lights do not actually filter through the mirror. (the rope light points outwards and not toward the user, so the reflectivity off the wall appears to be more important than i was anticipating). This light has a grounded plug (which is good) that can be cut off if you need/want to hardwire the power for the mirror. However, i only have one outlet in my bathroom and its not high on the wall to allow the cord and plug to be hidden (eg. i would have to add an outlet to cleanly use this). its also on other side of the room from the corner i wanted to mount the mirror. Now, since my house is the issue, i'm not knocking the stars for the electrical connection. i think it is better to have the plug and it makes sense that you would want to be able to hide the cord. But for those of us with OLDER homes, there is much work that may need to be done to use a mirror like this. Also note that the instructions explain how to hardwire the lights (which wires to match up). However, I am hard pressed to like this since i need the wall to make it useful for lighting and i don't have a wall nor an outlet, so i am stuck. I did not think, so i'm writing this for those of you who think that this is a great idea, but may not be thinking it through (like me) I'm still trying to figure out if i can actually use this. if i can figure it out, i will update the review. One last note. this review is for this particular size and design. not sure if the other sizes have the same design. The image in the listing shows a darkened room with a white wall. This mirror is what I want, the led light is not very bright and not very dark, I use it very well in makeup.I like it very much. My husband said that the installation is also not that hard. Both of us like it.

Pros - mirror can be installed either vertically or horizontally - mirror is anti fog and has a heater in center of mirror that radiates out, works well - controls on mirror are easy to see and easy to use - LED light is great, big improvement from over head lights. Light is easily adjustable from high to low. Cons - you will lose medicine cabinet if you currently have one - you will need a plug behind the mirror or will need to hard wire the mirror into the electricity (directions provided) This mirror works well for me, I am pleased with it but you should evaluate it carefully to ensure it is what you want. ... show more

We were going to remodel our bathroom this year, but, due to a dishwasher disaster, ended up remodeling the kitchen instead. So we haven’t installed this yet, but we did unbox it. It looks great, just what we were wanting for that bathroom. My husband says it looks to be easy to install as well. When it says "backlit" it means that is how it works. It is not an internal light with an additional decorative backlight. The part that looks like a lit frame around the mirror is actually clear frosted glass. The light behind it comes from a string of tiny LED lights. These lights are itty bitty and do not throw enough light to put on make-up of tweezer the hairs in your nose. You would actually get better lighting for a lot less money if you bought a conventional mirror and draped Christmas lights around it. I could not believe it when I saw it.
