The clear lenses look great on chrome mirrors with bright turn signals and running lights. However the fit is not ideal with modifications needed to make them fit properly. On a 2006 F250 the drivers plug was also wired backwards however this is a easy fix by swapping the wires on the truck plug.

This is a pretty cool concept. Wanted to switch my 2006 Powerstroke over to all LED’s. Got these hoping that running lights would be white and blinkers would be amber, but one side was white and the other amber on running, and the driver side blinker doesn’t work. Kinda bummed, these were a pain to get in and now one side doesn’t work. 😕

I read the reviews on here, so I knew they weren't going to be a seamless fit, but I'm happy with them. To install, stop and look at the tabs on the new one and you'll get an idea of how the originals need to be removed. I just carefully pried where the hook shaped tabs were located on the old mirror with a screwdriver, careful not to crack the mirror housing. Then I fished the socket/pigtail out of the mirror body with needle nose pliers through the square hole, and plugged in the new ones. I then tested them and they worked fine. I had to clean the contacts on my passenger side plug a little with some brake cleaner (all I had at the moment). Line up the 3 straight tabs, and then kind of rotate the 2 hook tabs into their slots. They have a slight gap and aren't perfectly smooth with the mirror housing, about 1/8" gap maybe, but they seem like they will stay put fine. I'm really not as picky as most about my vehicle looks, it's more of a utilitarian thing for me, so the fit doesn't bother me much. It's better than the clear, yellowing old ones I had on that I thought were a dated looking eyesore. Also, the lights in the old ones didn't work at all but these do, and they look better doing it. That's all it takes to make me happy. Overall they do the job and are reasonably priced in my opinion.

Build quality was good. Simple plug & play design is great. It's not very difficult to disassemble mirrors to swap in these lights. The smoked appearance is awesome, at night they look killer with the full length stripe white marker light that changes to a double amber stripe for the turn signal. However the fitment at the top is not that good. Leaves a small yet noticeable gap that likes to snag detail rags.

Will update when I hear back from the seller. For right now over all this product receives two stars from me because the passenger side works fine prior to installation and prior to installation of the driver side it became apparent that the wires are switched on the plug no it's not a polarity issue yes it's a defect in the manufacturing part we'll update my star and review upon hearing from the seller to return the item at no cost to me for the manufacturer's mistake. UPDATE, item being returned, hassle free, return postage paid, waiting on refund. You could easily splice the wires to work properly before the money I decided it wasn't appropriate that I had to splice wires and make things work correctly all at all looks like a good product and is extremely attractive but reverse wiring is not appealing to me UPDATE, HIDDEN RESTOCK FEES AND SHIPPING. The fitment was poor. I had to cut away hardened glue uze from manufacturing to help with fitment, then glue and clamp new fixtures into place where a snap in was intended.
