This coat is perfect. It's warm, easy to put on, it covers well. The underneath part is well made for a male dog. He can lift his leg and it doesn't get on the coat. There is a hole on the top for the leash to attach. The neck can be tightened to keep the wind out. There is plenty of flexibility to put this coat over another outfit. I wear a headlamp when walk him at night and it makes the reflective stripes really stand out. He looks so cute in this coat. This is a size medium for a Chihuahua mixed with Jack Russel. I measured my new dog around his chest and from the neck to the tail. It fit perfectly. I put the loops around his legs to keep it down and I feel like he is in a nice warm and comfortable coat. It’s very to put easy to put on. It slips over his head and then Buckles around the back. I’m going to buy another one from my other dog, even though she has several coats.

The jacket is great. We just got it today and we've gone from -10° to +50°, so may update this in the future. Outer material seems durable and will repel water some. The inside fleece is super soft and should hold in plenty of heat. It was super easy to put on. Simply slipped it over his head and slid the buckle underneath his two front legs and attached them over his back. I took a star off because I have a standard poodle who is long and slender. I had to order the XXL for length and it fits perfectly that way. Unfortunately the straps that go around his belly are much too long. When he walks in the coat it slides around his side, I can't imagine what it will do when he runs. If it's flopping around on his body I don't know how it will hold any heat in. I'll have to figure out a way to shorten them 3-4 inches, somehow. The straps cannot be shortened any more than they already are. They do, however, extend large enough to encompass an elephant. This jacket would not work for slender breeds like Standard Poodles, Greyhounds, Dobermans, Great Danes, some of the hunting breeds, and any other breed that is long in the body but slender in their torso.

This jacket just came in yesterday and I am super excited as it has been so cold outside recently. My dog loves to run around out in the yard, but since this temperature drop, she only runs around when it’s sunny and avoids all shady patches or she runs out and immediately turns around to come back. This is a medium and fits her perfectly. I love how it’s adjustable and it’s so easy to get on and off of her very often. When I try to put her in a jacket she will sit down and refused to move in it, but she has no problem walking around in this one. This is great for those dogs who hate jackets And seems to be very warm so far. I would definitely recommend!

My dog loves his coat! Easy to put on and seems warm enough for the MN cold. Fits him great except the belly strap is too long for him but I can shorten it myself to fit him better. He’s a 90lb lab, for reference. I am happy with this purchase.

Nice coat, good quality, looks really warm, and I love the fleece adjustable neck. The coat is easy peasy to put on and keeps his chest area warmer than our last one. Leg straps are adjustable in terms of how tight / loose you want them to be. I didn't use them and the coat stayed put just fine without them. Great coat!!

This is worth every penny! My dog weighs 82 lbs. and this fits her not too snug, but snug enough. Its furry lining keeps her warm and the outer fabric keeps the cold away. It’s thick and wraps under and around her mid-section with a nice strap that buckles on top. I don’t put her back legs through the elastic straps because that seems a little binding, but it stays on nicely without doing that. The reflective stripes were a surprise! This is a very durable, high quality coat! She loves it!

Our pups breed has a thin neck, large chest and narrow waist. (Texas Blue Lacy) The drawstring neck, and the adjustable belt on the waist makes this jacket better fitting than any other coat I've tried for her! It's also nice and long so she's covered from ears to tail. I did try putting the optional leg elastics on her back legs, she got used to them quickly, I'm just too lazy to use them for a quick potty break, they're really not needed. I haven't cut them off, but if you wanted to do so that would be easy. The jacket is really well made, seams are sewn tightly with no loose strings etc. The fuzzy sherpa/fleece interior is nice and warm, and the strong smooth exterior fabric doesn't snag on brush and grass, it blocks wind - and a great bonus is that it even repels rain! We're experiencing extremely cold temperatures right now, and I feel assured this coat is protecting my short-haired pup! I'm VERY HAPPY with this dog jacket. Definitely recommend!
