This is a great puzzle box that's as challenging as it is well made! Worth every penny for your own puzzle box collection. It has a small compartment to stash a gift, making it an even better gift. This will look great either on the shelf or on the coffee table to challenge visitors.

I bought this as a “gift box“ for money for my granddaughter‘s high school graduation gift. I like the idea of an experience rather than just opening a card. Well this is definitely an experience! We went right online to the solutions area so that we could open it and put the money inside. Quick note.. the area to put the gift or money is quite small; I took three dollar bills and had to fold them into fourths in order to put all three in the little gift box area. This puzzle box is a challenge! I don’t know how anybody could do this without hints, or in my case, the outright solution! Even with the outright solution, it was quite challenging, and every movement is quite exacting. So this is not for small children. The level of detail, the engineering that had to take place, and the exact cutting of the wood is extraordinary! Very impressive.

This was a very good puzzle box (the best ever still goes to the Tesla Box). The clues were very logical and I like that instead of just giving you a code somewhere, you have to figure it out with the clues. The construction is better that some of their other boxes (especially the nautilus). It's a little more disassembly than I prefer but it didn't go extreme. Overall a good puzzle box.

The slot where you place the final prize requires a bit of finesse to open, but overall the craftsmanship is pretty impressive. I was satisfied with the number of puzzles and level of effort required. I wish it were slightly bigger - some pieces are too small to comfortably handle.
