  • Amazing! But Not For the Average User
I've opted to use 2 Meanwell SE-1000-48 power supplies in parallel to power this charger. If you do this, you have to make sure that the voltage output is trimmed to a virtually identical output voltage. There's a Meanwell 48V 2000 watt power supply out there that is ideally used as its power supply, but is more expensive. I'd say it's probably the better option because if you are going to spend money to buy this charger, you might as well spend the money for the proper power supply. I would love to leave a three-page review on this, but I just don't have the time. I do you want to state that this charger has all the bells and whistles. I would not recommend this charger for those who are just doing bulk charging or smaller lipo batteries. It is a complex machine that requires knowledge of electronics, and of various lithium chemistries to operate. The one thing that stands out about this charger is that it knows how to properly check the cell's discharge rate while charging and discharging. This allows for accurate charging and discharging of individual cell groups. So again, this is not for the novice. But it's worth every penny if you work with lithium batteries regularly. If you need to charge a battery every now and again, this charger isn't for you. I've used this charger to charge two 10s lipo packs simultaneously for a 72V setup. It has worked flawlessly! It truly is an amazing charger. ... show more

  • Great product
This charger is amazing. This is worth the money hands down. I have been in RC for over 30 years and this will be the last charger I buy. I just charged (8) 4 cell 8200 in 30 minutes!!! Very easy to use. Had it up and running in about 10 minutes. If you have the money buy this charger and don't waste your money on others.... ... show more

  • Stop thinking
Honestly if you are thinking about getting this charger and you have some big batteries just get it. Don't think about it. I run 4 turnigy graphene 6s 12000mah on an eboard And this charges all 4 of my batteries and balances them in under 45 minutes I couldn't ask for better 50 miles for 45 minutes of a charge FFS only downside is weight between power supply and charger ... show more

  • Excellent Charger - Needs Additional Power Supply!
Purchased it to charge LiPo multi cell batteries. It does so with ease on a 20A input. One thing to note is that this unit does not come with a power supply. You will have to solder a power supply cable to the included power plug cable. Highly recommend the 2ZO-RC power supply, find them at: [...]". They are well modified HP server power supplies that can be bridged 4 times to output 60A! For charging these tiny 4S LiPos, just one of the 2ZO-RC power supplies will do, with an output of 20A. The iCharger4010Duo is well crafted, has a solid build quality, and has an intuitive GUI. ... show more

  • If You're Looking for the Best - Forget the Rest!
If you're serious about RC, you won't find a better charger. It can charge all of your rechargeable batteries, regardless of the chemistry. That having been said, this charger isn't for the faint of heart or the casual user. This is a serious, professional charger, with balance and discharge capabilities. ... show more

  • Good charger but accessories need improvement
A beast of a charger with one minor issue which is the ec5 cable that was included gets hot under load which I don't trust so I had to make my own with a 8 Awg instead of 10 other than that I use it with a 1200w seasonic power supply which outputs 110A at 12v I use it to charge my solar system lithium batteries and projects. ... show more
