This product is especially easy to wear and adjust for different walking conditions as you go about your day. Having just had shoulder surgery it was a godsend to not have to "tie" shoelaces. You just dial and release. So clever and easy to tighten when hiking in hilly areas and loosen for around the house. Best traction possible.

These are easily the most comfortable and functional shoes I have ever owned and I absolutely love them! I did size up, after doing some research before purchasing, and I am glad that I did. I am typically a true 8 1/2 in ladies shoes, but I got these in a 9 1/2 and they fit my like a dream. I would normally size up to a 9 in boots anyway to leave room for a thick sock, but I don't need a thick sock with these shoes. They are well insulated and my standard compression athletic shoes are perfect with these. They are truly water proof and have traction that is unparalleled. I have forded rivers in these shoes and not slipped once. They handle loose gravel and rocky terrain like its nothing to them. I am in awe of how brave I feel in the outdoors now, with these on my feet. It my sound hyperbolic to you, but I am a naturally clumsy person who also just happens to love hiking and working around my farm. A shoe that keeps me safe from myself is something I didn't know existed. While I'm mentioning it, I should also note that these have great side stabilizing powers and superb ankle support. I've twisted ankles without hardly moving before, but have explored my heart out all winter in these kicks with no injuries to report. Lastly, I should mention that the clasp wheel thingy that tightens the laces is the smartest thing! I have never seen anything like this before, but there's a wheel you spin that tightens the laces for you! It's genius. To loosen the laces you just pop it up and off the shoe comes. Brilliant. If you don't buy these shoes you are missing out and life will be sadder for you than it could have been.

This pair of Haze Women's RB9X GTX shoes is my introduction to the Icebug brand. I'm a very outdoorsy person and am always on the lookout for new brands. Icebug describes their brand ethos on their website: Our mission is to get people out more AND be a leader in transforming our industry to be completely sustainable. Therefore, we: - Produce the world's best traction footwear - Minimize our negative environmental impact - Inspire and invite others to join us outdoors These Haze shoes are really nice quality with very functional details like grippy soles and Waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane. I particularly like the unique lacing system, this is not something I've seen before. I chose the "Black/Maple" color and they are really beautiful in a very Scandinavian minimalist way. The neutral black looks great with the contrasted brown sole and detailing. These Haze shoes are right up my alley in every way except for the fit. I consistently wear a size 8 US or 39 EU in women's. I ordered these in the size "8". Oddly, these are quite wide but I can get a good fit using the clever lacing system. But, these are way too short in length for me to comfortably wear. I suspect that if I were to size up they’d fit in the length but be way too wide in the width. I'm super bummed! These are lovely shoes. Unfortunately, their sizing is off and I'm unable to enjoy them.
