  • Fantastic Way To Start My Health Journey! A Terrific Inflatable Tub That OUTSHINES Them All! ;o)
Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o) Like everyone, I really wanted to start a new health journey in January-- after all, it's a great month for new beginnings. I had read a lot of literature of the benefits of these cold plunges, as I needed help with recovery to pursue loss of weight and exercise goals without much residual pains... meaning I didn't want my body to quit before I get going type thing. After much searching on Amazon, I stumbled on this (rare) inflatable version of the cold plunge baths... and I was overjoyed to find this safe option for me (more on this in a minute)! Naturally, I ordered this on the spot, and this inflatable ice bath tub arrived in great shape, with all the accessories, like a nice storage bag for the deflated tub, a zip cover to keep the debris out, an electric air pump with adaptive nozzles to better fit the valves, a floating thermometer, an extra long collapsible drain hose, a gift of freezable ice packs (nice!), and most importantly, 4 pieces of adhesive vinyl to repair leaks. This kit was SO complete, let me tell you! Bonus points to the company for that! I took the tub out for a 'dry run' in our basement, to make sure the air-filled 'tubes' held well, and practiced climbing into the tub. I found you can inflate 3 of the 4 rings, to make it easier to climb in and out of this tub-- there's a tip for others who may have mobility issues, or can't handle the taller (pole filled) ice tubs due to the height. ;o) Here's how to fill this tub easily, in about 5-10 minutes, as the provided instructions doesn't explain the valves very well: The rings were super easy to fill, using the right nozzle with the provided electric pump... provided you attach each of the nearby 3 part black valves first, screwing them into the air hole situated on each ring. Uncap the top of the valve and you find the middle section has a flapper of sorts within that trap the air as you are inflating it, without air escaping when you are done filling that ring. Twist the cap of the valve securely, and you are finished with that ring. I will venture to suggest filling the bottom ring first, and then the next three rings, going upward. (That way, you have a base to work with.) Now you are ready for filling with water and ice! Put the floating thermometer in, and adjust the cold temperature to what's best for your health and tolerance. It's best to start off with a higher 'cold' temp to let your body adjust if you are a newbie. In summary, this tub is... awesome, safe for me and WIDE! 33 inches wide, that is. I struggled with a previous ice plunge tub that was narrower, had stakes to support it and it was falling over without much effort... not a good thing. I can sit comfortably on the floor of this tub, though I do recommend acquiring an inflatable seat with suction cups or a weighed foam hot tub seat designed to stay down on the floor to sit on. Also, I would recommend putting down a barrier of sorts, to protect the tub's underside from rough concrete, etc. to extend the longevity of your ice tub. Lastly, you can zip the top cover on the inflated rings more easily, to keep your water clean of debris and whatnot. Gotta say this: I honestly think this is the best ice tub to be had! Even the upper ring gives your neck built-in support that the other tubs don't even come close! Need I say more? ;o) Give this affordable ICEBREATH Ice Bath Cold Plunge Tub a try... I don't think you'll regret your purchase. *********************************************************** Update: An opportunity to save wee bit of moolah! Right now, there's a 20% off coupon to make your purchase all the sweeter! *********************************************************** May Your Year Be Warm, Cherry And Bright! ;o) Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! • Fantastic Quality!
The Ice Bath Cold Plunge Tub came in very nice packaging and is super easy to set up. It comes with its own electric pump to fill up the chambers and requires no support poles. It has a nice cover that zips on and is easy to remove. It only took a few minutes to fill up and has been getting heavy use. I was surprised at how large it is. I have another cold tub that the kids use and it's much smaller than this one. This particular tub is a better fit for tall people. It has a thermometer and a drain tube, making it easy to drain for cleaning or storage. This is a great collection for the family! The kids love cold tubbing and the health benefits are much worth getting one! ... show more

  • Huge ice bath
The ice bath came with everything but the water. It's easy to set up and put away. Each ring fills up with air and has no need for pvc or a plastic outer cage to hold it up together. It's extremely spacious. I didn't think it would be this big, compared to the other generic looking ones. It came with an air pump with different nozzles. Some actually ice packs. A thermometer. Also a carry bag. It includes a lid with a zipper to store inflated if needed. It's very lightweight and easy to empty. It also has the drainage hoses. It's probably the best ice bath ice gotten and have at the moment compared to my others that are pretty cheap, compared to this one. ... show more

  • Outstanding ice bath tub - easy, convenient, and very nice design
This is a really great design for an ice bath - I think it is far superior to many of the flimsy alternatives out there. It is super easy to inflate, and it feels substantial and is very supportive. It's also a bit larger than typical ice baths, which is a big plus. If you want to move it around, the inflatable design makes it very easy to do so. You won't have to disassemble a bunch of parts and then reassemble them again. If you're looking for a terrific ice bath tub at a very reasonable price, this is it. Recommended. ... show more

  • Deflates a little
The quality is decent but it does deflate and lose air pretty quickly, especially after leaving it filled overnight. It’s hard to reinflate with water in it due to the pressure from the water. It drains easy but who wants to waste all that water and go through refilling it when the water was clean. You will need a tarp or a flat cement block to place this on to keep it level or it will sink to one side in the yard or run the risk of snagging on the deck board and popping. ... show more

  • So far so good!
This tub is so cool and MUCH bigger than we were expecting! It has several little air pockets. Not just one but hole that you fill with air so it definitely makes it more structurally sound. The water stays COLD for a good bit. This tub is great! You definitely need it as an athlete!

  • Interesting shape. Its a different concept form other ice baths.
This ice bath has no poles and is completely inflatable, similar to a kids pool or inflatable hot tub. It does come with an electric pump, which is nice since there is a lot more to blowup with air than the other ice baths available.
