These skates are PU leather uppers with PVC outsoles and a stainless steel blade. The skates are comfortable and shape well with the foot after a short period of breaking in. They are durable and can handle being pulled and tied tightly. They offer enough support for the ankle. The women’s fit is true to size, but be sure to check the sizing chart on the product information page. The skate is an average width, not wide with, but not tight. The blade was sharp enough out of the box. The blades will need seasonal sharpening, depending on how often they are used. If you take care of these, they should last a while. They are a good value.

These look great in person and are genuinely comfy. The padding feels soft right away, and the ankle support is solid enough for casual rink sessions without pinching. Getting them on and off is quick. The laces slide easily and it’s simple to cinch the ankle snug, then loosen when you’re done. The included blade guards are a nice touch for storage and walking around the benches without nicking anything. What I liked - Comfortable padding and supportive feel for beginner/intermediate casual skating - Clean, vibrant color that looks good on the ice - Easy to put on and take off; lacing tightens evenly - Blade guards included to protect edges (and your bag) Heads-up - Fit seemed true to size for me, but check the size chart and consider the socks you’ll wear - Like many new skates, the first session may have a tiny break-in. Tighten the ankle firmly and re-tie after a few minutes if the laces settle Tips for best results - Dry the blades and soles after skating to prevent rust. Use the hard guards for walking off-ice - If the glide feels grabby or dull, get a quick pro sharpening. Factory edges vary - Lace snug over the instep and firm at the top for better control and ankle support Bottom line Comfortable, good-looking skates that are easy to use and ready for regular rink nights. Excellent skates for the price. I got these for my daughter as she wanted to learn ice skating. They are well made, durable, heavy duty, and yet, still affordable. The fit was just right and as comfortable as ice skates can be. She’s had a blast learning to handle the ice… a few bumps and bruises on her backside but that’s part of learning. I was thrilled I could order them as it’s something she’s wanted along time. To find such a nice pair this reasonable made us all happy.

I just moved to a cold climate for the first time in 15 years. I'm a little worried about the winter, but so excited to see if I can still skate! I got the black skates, which have lavender eyelets, in a women's 10.5 -- I usually wear at 10, but wanted extra room for really thick socks (maybe multiple pairs, lol). They fit perfectly and the inside lining is very soft and plush. They're very pretty and sleek, unlike the old ones we used to rent, and I'll probably get lavender laces for them. I think this is a good price if you're just learning (or re-learning) to skate!
