I got a size 4-5 T and it fit perfectly on my four-year-old; the top part was just slightly loose but she is tall and slender for her age. I will admit there were a couple of hanging threads/very minor stitching errors but not noticeable. To be honest, we had to tweak this dress just a bit for our almost 4 year old granddaughter. The top was pretty baggy and big, so we shortened the top of the straps quickly with a sewing machine. The armpit area originally had way too much gap to it. The dress was still wide at the waist, but it looked fine. It would have been to really loose without the alterations. We also tacked down the corners of the bow in back. With that change, the outfit was 5 stars kind of cute! Washed well in cold water inside a lingerie bag. Line dried. Still looks great! This was a super cute dress, and my daughter looked adorable. However, the hemming along the bottom of the skirt began to unravel during the first wear. The headband was shaped in a way it kept popping off her head. The bow on the sleeve was attached vertically, as seen in photos, but I detached and sewn on horizontally because I felt it looked better. And it says HAND WASH ONLY.
