It was as described, very thin. But that was fine as I wanted a thin sweater. It is short waisted, no buttons or anything, so it just hangs. I wish it had some buttons, so I pinned the bottom. I usually wear medium, but I think a small would have been better for me.

I bought a number of sleeveless sundresses for a recent summer vacation. Unfortunately, I have fairly heavyset arms and, while my new dresses looked nice for the most part, I really did not like revealing my heavy upper arms. I nearly returned 3 dresses but, instead, opted to buy this lightweight shrug to pair with the dresses. Such a great idea! I love how this inexpensive addition to my closet allows me to wear so many outfits I felt uncomfortable in previously. White goes with anything so I wear this a lot. The fabric is nice and soft and it washes very well. This is a basic wardrobe item which adds such versatility to my outfits. It was a really good purchase.

I bought several of these in different colors. They are extremely thin and you can see through them. However, they are fine for wearing over dresses and fantastic for those of us who have hot flashes. I like the fit, which was most important to me. For the price, and my intentions, they are great. Update: I purchased another color, dark khaki. It did look like khaki in the photo, but believe me, it is! For you khaki lovers- Rejoice! :D I took a chance on this to wear as a second piece to wear while going someplace more “formal” with a cami, or sleeveless dress. It fits the purpose very well! I can’t see through it , so it does breathe. The fabric is, light and does not wrinkle easily in travel. I purchased a darker color because I was not sure a see through white would work for me. I may buy a lighter color to wear with a lighter undergarment, but it may not work as well with white over navy, for example. Very pleased. Sixe as expected and good quality for the price. The simple style could work with many outfits.
