  • This exposes your liquid to the greatest surface area of super-cold metal that they can
Color: Mint
It does exactly what it says. It has clear instructions of how to fill the compartments to what level to prevent spilling, you just keep it in the freezer and anytime you need any drink cooled quickly without dilution, this does the job. For those not fully familiar with how it works, what it's accomplishing is trying to surround your liquid with as much ice-behind-metal as possible. So, it has a center chamber of ice behind the metal, then and outer chamber of ice. The inner chamber fits inside the outer with about a cup's worth of space that's between the inner and outer chamber. This exposes your liquid to the greatest surface area of super-cold metal that they can, and since your liquid is only touching metal, and not the ice itself, it doesn't matter the temperature of the liquid poured in. You can pour in boiling water and while it may end up melting a bunch of the ice behind the metal, none of that water will mix with your drink. So, whether you're chilling a wine, dropping hot coffee to cool it off, or just wanting to rapidly drop the temp of that fresh lemonade you made without making it watery, this will get that done. ... show more

  • Iced coffee allows me to enjoy my morning commute
Color: Mint
I wish I could give it 4.75 stars instead of five because it works more slowly than I want; I want it to be magical and it isn't - but it is functional. It does work well and I use it every day. I love iced coffee. I am just not a fan of the flavor of cold-brew coffee and have a (now confirmed) theory that coffee flavor changes over time, with fresh coffee having a best flavor. I make two aeropresses of coffee every morning and swirl each (separately) in the hyperchiller for around two minutes before putting them in my travel cup with ice. Wonderful iced coffee for my trip to work. With iced coffee I can taste the regional differences in coffee beans and subtle notes of flavor that, at least to me, disappear when served hot. My morning cup is way more than a caffeine source, it is a source of pleasure, with the hyperchiller, even moreso. What I like: It works. What I dislike: It takes up room in my freezer. It takes time to chill the device before it is ready and cannot be quickly recharged for many back-to-back uses (if I have guests) ... show more

  • UPDATE: Great Customer Service!!
Color: Mint
Bought this in February on Amazon. A month ago during a routine defrost and clean, I filled it back up with water and froze it, this is how it came out of the freezer. The threading is all messed up and the seal is shoddy now and leaks everywhere. So my choices are to either hand over more money to them for another product that may only work for a few months or I just clean up the mess every time I use it. Just a bummer because before that, I really enjoyed the unit! It’s a good idea in theory, just a poor quality product. If you view it that you only spend $30 for the thing to work about 4 months, that makes it only $7.50/month for non diluted iced coffee. But I won’t give them additional money to try that gamble again. UPDATE 07/24 - Customer service reached out to me to replace the defective unit at no cost. Nick was pleasant, efficient, and had helpful information. Great company to do business with, and as I said in my original review, the product was excellent before the defect. I have since changed my rating, as the company stands by their product. ... show more

  • Worth the price, excellent product
Color: Mint
This product is a must-have for iced coffee lovers who want to go on a budget. Using this avoids the sour flavor of cooling coffee, so it definitely replaced my trip of going to a cafe and ordering a coffee. I calculated how much I spend on coffee in a cafe vs. using this machine. Overall, a year of buying coffee outside would cost me $1,200-1,3000, a huge number. Using this with ground coffee from the super market reduces the spending to less than $100, which is a a huge save. I definitely recommend this product ... show more

  • Iced Coffee Game Changer!!! Finally!!
Color: Mint
Ok, I have been wanting to make freshly brewed iced coffee @ home for about 10yrs. This is the best thing to happen to iced coffee..Great invention yet!!! I almost did the coffee ice cubes idea, but never wanted to go through the hassle. When I brew coffee...I want it fresh & NOW!! ;) Coffee starts to taste bad when you put in the fridge or in ice cube form. This thing is Perfect. I feel like im getting Starbucks or Dunkin now. The only con is that its on 12.5oz, but 12oz is all my keurig brews anyways. Very simple to use. My #Fav recipe is to mix in some flavored liquid coffee creamer & mocha chocolate syrup, no sugar needed. Awesome product, #No regrets!! ... show more

  • Who needs Starbucks
Color: Mint
This is an amazing product. I use it with my keurig and the coffee comes out ice cold. My only wish that would make this product even more amazing is if it was able to hold a little more coffee for the cooling process. I drink about 16oz of iced coffee and the max fill for this is 12oz. But other then that...This product is perfect. ... show more

  • Love this thing...
Color: Mint
Already had one for myself and bought a second for a friend. I'm thinking of buying a third for the office! I have a cold brew set to make concentrate which is nice but takes 24+ hours. Sometimes I forget/run out/am lazy and you can literally brew hot coffee into this thing and have ice cold coffee about 2 minutes later. From hot brewed to so cold in less than two minutes that the coffee doesn't even melt ice in the glass. Highly recommend if you're an iced coffee addict like me! ... show more

  • Worth While Purchase
Color: Mint
This product is absolutely remarkable... The fact that it makes the piping hot coffee so cold in sixty seconds, without watering it down is amazing... However I was just as impressed with its easy setup, and easy clean up... I would recommend it to anyone as a gift, and since it melts some of the ice while cooling the coffee, I would purchase two for an additional cup while your first hyperchiller refreezes... ... show more
