This is a tremendous value for your $60 ! Jacket is comfortable & versatile, zip out winter liner, open ventilation zippers & it can work even in 80+ degree weather IF you are moving. Also good down into the low 50s (cold as I ride), I'm sure down to the 40's with a better thermal than I use. Fit is good, but arms a bit long. I THINK my size is a L (it will say on my review header), and I"m 5'9" and 210# and at that weight, the chest is perfect but the arms are a tad long on me. The real solution is for my weight to drop down below 200, then I'm sure the next size down will be perfect, thanks to my new 18:6 Intermittent daily fasting, I'm now at 204# and jacket is now quite loose on me lol ! The only possible criticism I see is the elbow pad pockets seem to be a tad mis-aligned, so that the pads aren't centered on my elbows perfectly. Not sure if it's was sewed slightly off or if my body is out of alignment with the rest of humanity - probably the latter ! Have their insulated pants and they're perfectly suitable too. Really nice lined, armored jacket for the price. You can even upgrade the armor panels. Good for temps in the 40s and provides decent wind protection. I would absolutely recommend sizing up as a 5x fits great for a guy that wears a 2x and would put a sweatshirt on under this. Update: I've had this jacket for a few months now and am UPGRADING my previous rating. This jacket is great for longer rides in cooler weather. The air ventilation zips work really well.     • Excellent budget jacket, too hot for warm weather.

Overall the jacket is of reasonable quality for such a low price. In Colorado I've ridden with it fully lined in 40º and it was perfectly comfortable. Above 75º it is quite hot. The vents are okay, but only if you have a full stream of wind hitting them, riding behind a modest fairing/windshield renders them pretty useless. The liner zips out and unbuttons from the sleeves pretty quickly so transitioning is easy. I'm 6' and 240lbs and I got an XL. It fits snug like a motorcycle is supposed to, but not tight, quite a perfect fit for me. I have broad shoulders and a thicker middle section and normally wear XL shirts and ordered the jacket to match and was not disappointed. The two downsides I see are #1 it's not a warm weather jacket whatsoever. There is good protection with quality materials, but the trade off is warmth. On cold days it is great. #2 the sleeves at the wrist are pretty enormous and the velcro closures flap around if you close them snugly. When it's warm I've kept them somewhat looser than I would like so air flows into the sleeves, this alleviates the closure flap issue, but I don't like that when they are snug there's 2 inches of velcro flap that has nothing to attach to. It is good when it's warm to fit around larger gloves if that's how you like to ride. For the fit and value I'm overall impressed. I'm looking for another jacket for hot weather. ... show more

I ordered a 3xl as that's what my measurements size me at on most motorcycle jackets. The fit is snug but it's supposed to be, I bought this as my first ever jacket and have worn it once on a ride. There is some stiffness in the shoulders but it didn't affect my riding. It seems to be of good quality and I hope it holds up if I ever go down, for the price of the jacket I can't complain. I myself think it looks pretty awesome too! I ordered the HWK pants to match and everything sipped up as it should. ... show more

I just bought this jacket as my first motorcycle jacket. I have not worn it yet on a ride, but wanted to offer my initial thoughts. JACKET: - The jackets seems very heavy-duty and of good quality - It is very nice looking..okay of course that it subjective - Sizing: I would say it runs big. After measuring myself, I ordered a Large, but ended up needing a Medium (I'm 5'7" 165 lbs). Your mileage may vary. That said, it has several different snaps and straps to adjust the fit. Also, it may look a little bulky when you put it on since it has shoulder pads - The main zipper seems like a good quality zipper - It has several air vent zippers - There is padding on the elbows, shoulders, belly area and back area - There is an inner liner that can be removed for warmer weather and added in during colder season VALUE: If you don't want to spend $200 or more on a jacket, then this is a good choice. It does feel or look cheap and I suspect could sell for a much higher price. This seems like a very good value. If I remember, I'll follow up with an update after the riding season is over. CUSTOMER SERVICE When you get the jacket, there will be several notes asking you to reach out to them via email if you think you want to return it. I recommend doing this. Their customer service was 2nd to none. PS: I also bought the HWK riding pants. They are also very nice. They seems like they'll be quite warm during those summer months, but I'm not sure how you balance protection with staying cool during the summer. ... show more

This jacket is pretty warm but has a removable liner as well as ventilation that helps make it a little nicer as it warms up. I probably won't be wearing it in the summer though. The padding is fairly easy to remove for washing. I also got the pants that go with it. I feel pretty safe if I were to crash. I ride an e bike, but I'm not sure how good this would be in a motorcycle crash. Overall it's pretty good for my purposes. ... show more

My husband likes the quality and it fits perfectly with him. The material they use is great. Have padding on both shoulders and elbows also one thing he likes are the air ventilation.
