Hey there - I'm Ashley, reviewing on my boyfriends account (hi!): I'm an active dog walker in the Seattle proper area- hence the need for good, legit rain boots that I can walk in for more then 10 min at a time. Found these bad boys... (after a CRAP ton of research- I'm talking unnecessary hours hah) Heard alot of hype around the brand and I can't promise these are real Hunter rainboots (I'd like to hope so) but they are pretty great so far. Size: I'm one of those sizes that are weirdly between a 10 and an 11.. usually going for men's shoes because they fit so good for that half sizish. I was sold on a 10 as they run "bigger". It fits my foot almost to perfect from heel to toe with a thick sock on, but its not uncomfortable unlesss you are walking downhill... then its an ouch. Durability: Its a thicker rubber so its pretty durable. The seems do not appear to be leak worrisome and they have some awesome grip as I tried these out during a lull in a snow storm and everywhere was icy! Fit: The fit is comfortable and I have worm them for a few walks now, never blistering. I would suggest tall socks, warmers, or pants to be worn with these as I said they are thick rubber and I can see the potential for that happening as they rub slightly while walking. Temperature: Toes got a little chilly (again, walking in a couple inches of snow/ice but nothing crazy) Foot stayed warm all in all. Color: I got the hunter green, which is the darker of the greens. Its truly a darker green/black and matte-LOVE IT. True PNW pride right here (LOL). I hope that helps narrow your search some - sorry for the novel but these were the things I was looking for when purchasing - as I walk ALOT and needed something durable, comfortable, warm, waterproof, and grip! Give these a shot if you can! I think you'll be thrilled.

Excellent quality rain boots. I usually wear a 8.5 or 9. I sized down to a 8 and they fit fine. I particularly liked the short height boots. Easier to get on and off. Highly recommend.

Finally splurged on a pair of hunter boots for my birthday. No doubts about their authenticity. I'm usually an 8.5 wide and I ordered a 9 which fits perfectly with both thin and thick socks. The opening of the boot doesn't leave me any wiggle room around my calves but doesn't dig in. For reference, I'm 5'2" and have 16" calves. The navy blue is a true dark navy. Hunter boots are made of natural rubber and sometimes can end up with a white "bloom" on the rubber which is a natural process, not a defect of the boot. I believe hunter has products to help fix this problem and make your boots look brand new. Can't wait to wear them come Fall and rain!

I bought these to get me through the unrelenting rain here on the east coast this winter. I needed a pair of boots that were: easy to get on while trying to herd small children out the door, going to keep my feet dry while trudging around out in the paddock to bring my horse in or turn him out, comfortable on my feet while mucking and doing various barn chores for hours, easy to clean by spraying off so I can make other stops after leaving the barn without smelling like I just left a barn, fashionable enough to keep my teenager from being embarrassed, still going to look like new and not fall apart after being subjected to all of the above. These boots definitely fit the bill. I love them. I can switch from these boots into my dress boots and back with minimal tugging. Yet they stay on, don’t slide around on my foot, or give me blisters. They just fit really well. My only complaint of sorts is that I can not get the buckle on the side to lie flat against the boot. I’m not sure if it’s the design of the buckle or operator error. Either way, not a big deal. I’m probably going to snag another pair of these in a different color. It’s love.
