I have read reviews of Hunter boots and knew to size up a bit. Though I read more reviews and still got nervous and went up one more size. And still today when I got them in the mail, I wondered to myself if they’d fit due to the narrow opening. They fit and I’m extremely pleased. I plan to keep these for years. Absolutely high quality, nothing better. Just beware to size up since the ankle opening is extremely small and once my foot made it in, things were fine..l I had worried that sizing up for the small ankle opening I had read about would lead to my foot having to much room. Nope, it is just right. These boots are at least a whole size smaller than what they indicate. Go larger! And then enjoy for years to come.

Overall, very quality rainboot. The ankle is a little on the tight side for me, but doesn't press badly if I wear thicker socks. This is because it has a lining on the inside of the elastic to keep that part from getting wet. I was looking for a rainboot I wouldn't have to repurchase in a year, and I've put these shoes though a lot and they are holding up really well. I originally purchased a slightly taller pair from Hunter and returned them because they were pressing on my legs, these were a much better option for me

Boots are super good for the rain. Felt comfortable walking in mud on the first day of having them because they’re so easy to clean. I normally wear a size 10 in womens but went with size 11 so i could wear thick socks when it’s cold.

I loved the look of the boot!! However, I own a pair of the tiniest feet you've ever seen, how do I know, because I get that ALL the time, from friends, relatives and strangers alike. I ordered a size 5, which were still a tad too long, but and however, the opening of the shoe was designed entirely too tight for me to fit my tiny/narrow feet in without a struggle. I am convinced you simply can not get your feet in without a tug of war with the flap on the back, which I am convinced would have eventually torn up prematurely, so I had to sadly return the beautiful booties.
