I am so glad and so happy to find this item again the material the wood of this table it is solid glossy it is a good wood of material the table itself is a little bit light and so it's the chairs but the height for the Toddlers and for five and 7-year-old is perfect as well too the Oakland Joy the same height in this table I love it this is my second time buying it for different people of course cuz I love it and they love it too now and now I'm purchasing again as you can see for my granddaughter and she's going to love it and her dad is going to love it because it's right for her height and it's easy to clean that glossy makes it easier to clean I love it I recommend this item get your hands on this item while they still available cuz this is a good table for your toddlers And like I said all the way into the age of seven the high is perfect for them to enjoy it together eating drawing doing homework is perfect ... show more

    • A very well-made table/chair set for little people!

My wife and I have two little people, my son being 4, and my daughter being 2. Both are very active and love testing the limits of pretty much anything within their grasp (and finding ways to get to things that they can't reach). While I regularly have to remind myself that these kinds of things are completely normal for kids their age, it can be difficult to find things that are built sturdy enough that they stand up to my kids. One thing my wife and I have been on the hunt for recently is a sturdy table-and-chair set for times when we need to give the kids (and their friends/playmates) calm activities to do. We recently spent time with some friends who had this set, and I noticed pretty quickly after giving the table and chairs a once-over that they appeared to be built very well - definitely not the chintzy particle-board stuff scattered all over Amazon that I am sure my kids would destroy in no time flat. I was impressed enough that I added this set to our family Amazon cart and, once the price dropped to a point I was happy with, went ahead and picked up a set of our own. Well, after several months with our set, I will say that I have been nothing short of impressed with how well it has held up, especially in the context of our kids. As a few key points, • Build quality is excellent, and everything assembled very cleanly. My wife and I were actually able to make a date night out of it and really enjoyed working together on it. Yes, the wood is layered (plywood), but it's high quality and very clearly built to last. • To date, the only wear I've seen is from when my son decided to stack the chairs on top of each other to make a fort, which quickly resulted in the chairs' toppling to the ground and getting scratched - though only very slightly for as hard as the chairs fell. Otherwise, everything still looks like new. • The table has a very slightly textured but still smooth surface that cleans easily and is perfect for kid-based activities. • While the chairs are rated for kids and smaller adults, I will say that I have no issues sitting on them. I'm 175lb, so I don't typically put all of my weight on the chairs (just to be safe), but they seem well-made enough to be able to take it without any trouble. That said, if, like us, you have curious, adventurous kids and are looking for a sturdy, affordable table/chair set for them, look no further than this one. It's a winner! ... show more

Bought this for my then 1yo. I now have two kids, 5 and 3. They love this table/chair set! We use it a lot. It’s a great size chair and table set for toddlers through young kids. The unfortunate thing we’ve run into, and you get what you pay for, is that the chairs have each broken. My husband has reinforced them all but they continue to break. My kids aren’t too rough with them, but they do lean back on them or push on the table, causing the joints to separate/break apart. They have lasted four years which I think is great. Maybe we could do some different reinforcing and that would help. Overall, we like this set and have put it to good use. ... show more

We had 10 kids and thought we would never fully get to the good part (grand kids). Our oldest was 41 and we only had three grands spaced so far apart they had nothing is common. Then it happened; 5 within one year, now all independent toddlers who want to feed themselves! This set is wonderful! It just the right height for them sit without assistance. Easy to clean and sturdy enough for the occasional table dance. They love sitting together and we love allowing them to be “big boys and girls”!
