You have to be right up on it to see that it's not real gold. The only negative thing I can say is it's packed in a vacuum sealed thick plastic and it took about 10 minutes to cut it out of the plastic.

I purchased the 20' and it exceeded expectations especially for the price! Very sturdy, the clasp seems very strong in comparison to other brands I've purchased in the past. It's not the typical lobster clasp though I'm not sure the technical name of this one is. It's a tad bit heavy for every day wear in my opinion but I wouldn't wear one every day anyway. Perfect for spicing up an outfit, and it looks excellent on dark shirts like a solid black or dark grey!
