I purchased this desk to make a nice desk for my graduate heading to her first job. I have a different brand in my office, and she mentioned that she liked the sit/stand option. The best thing I like about this desk, even better than the desk that I have, it that the motor assembly is very quiet! There are several things that make this desk a great base. 1. The motor is super quiet - I have to say it twice 2. The desk top can be a wide range of sizes depending on your desire. It can be shorter side to side, or extend it out for a longer desk surface. 3. The controller enables you to pre-set several heights so you can move from a sit level to stand level with a simple single button. The system does require you to assemble the entire unit. That does take some time, but it is not that hard at all. The base is heavy which you want because this provides a solid footing for the desk. Everything is all metal and solid high quality base. The motor mechanism is top notch and the whole assembly is great when finished. If I was a critic, the under desk metal mount that is designed to place electrical bricks or a multiple plug extension cord. I thought the metal bracket was not as nice so I just mounted my power supply to the underside of the desktop. This is a great base - I love it. I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more

I have a few standing desks but opted to use this one with my workbench top. It works great and has plenty of power and allows me to have custom settings depending of the task at hand. As with the other standing desk bases I have I have only one complaint. That is the base itself I feel needs a cross member. Either on the floor or midway up for added sway stability. The base itself has nice strong quiet motors and the parts have a nice finish on them that works well with most tops. It was easy to put together and has fairly clear and concise directions. I like that you can have different height settings saved as long as it's kept plugged in and powered. I also don't see any issues that would make me questions the quality of the base. Overall it's a powerful quiet well made standing desk base. However with the option to lift up to 265lbs I feel it should have the added sway support of a cross member. ... show more

I work from home, I feel lazy and the sitting only makes it worse. This is a perfect, I can sit, stand, lift it up to clean under it and iits quiet. Putting it together was really quick and it has nice easy to read instructions, it does come with a bag of extra screws as well. This does not come with a top, I picked up a butcher block too from Home Depot while it was on sale. Quality… this has a great powder coat over it that did not scratch when I hit it with my drill by accident. Very happy with this and it’s perfect for the home office. ... show more

This leg set came with everything i needed to setup my standing desk base. All I have to do is add the table surface. These legs have great lifting strength and are easy to control with 3 programmable presets and fine adjustment buttons.

    • Easy to assemble, easy to use!

This went together quickly, took me about 15 minutes to put together. Another 5 minutes or so to screw my desktop on. The desktop is not included, I purchased a butcher block top of the size I wanted elsewhere, then attached it to the desk. It's easy to put together, easy to install the top. Wiring hooks up easily, it just takes a minute to decide how you want to route the wiring. My only complaint with this is that the holder for the power supply is a bit on the small side. It wouldn't hold a standard surge protecter/power strip. So that was a bit of a pain. But it went together well, functions perfectly. Makes it super easy to go from sitting to standing in 15 seconds or so. Big fan. ... show more
