Ok. Pros and cons on this one. In the end was still totally worth the $ Pro: so stinking cute. We live in the north so having on warm clothes did not ruin the costume. All the girls we passed said how cute and they wanted to be twilight sparkle (or whichever one it is lol) The height was perfect for my daughter. Pay attention to the size/height. The Battery... Is a USB A to a battery pack for 4 AA batteries. However since it's a USB A I used one of my phone charging batteries and it lasted hours and not close to dying. I loved that part. Also blew up quick with the battery pack. The face is outside of the unit instead of behind a plastic see through square. Cons: in order for the unit to allow for the face to be outside it then has a tight hood to go around the face. We had a hard time getting this over my daughter's head and got stuck on her ears. Not sure if those dimensions are listed. I ended up cutting the elastic to go around the face and stuffed a little towel under her chin, thos prevented chaffing and helped air from escaping. Idea for next time she wears it, we are going to put a small glow stick in the horn so it glows ;) ... show more

Make sure though that you have the elastic part on the inside to go around the neck. We were mistakenly putting it around the face and it just wasn't working out. Unfortunately it was lacking instructions in regards to that.

This costume was the center of attention! It was worn by a 10 year old, fit perfectly. The trick to getting your head in is to first put the elastic over your head like putting on a shirt, pull it down over the neck and then pull the back of the elastic up to the top of the head. Do not try to put your face through the hole - it won't fit like that, it should go over your head. The costume was worn all day, in and out of the car, and it quickly and easily deflated and inflated. The batteries held up too with the constant inflating, although we did carry around an extra set just in case. I admit I was very skeptical about this costume and was prepared to write it off as a failed experiment, but it was AMAZING! ... show more
