I didn’t like the out of the box setup! It was difficult to install until I figured out to press the right blinking buttons to print out the needed codes and details. But one I got wireless printing working it is amazing! Fast and gods printing. Reliable. Also join the HP monitoring service that auto ships the supplies you need. Love it with no paper jams! Recommend HP reconsider its installation instructions! The technology is there, but to tough for non experts.

The best part is that it has wired and wireless wifi. None of the newer wireless HP Printers I've tried like my google wifi access points. Be warned that There's no USB port. Also, there is no software included. It took two downloads to get the thing up and running, but my other Windows 10 & 11 computers found and added it seamlessly once fully configured. Overall, a good buy if you're looking for a light-duty, home, B&W laser printer.

My desk area at work has been recently reconfigured and I carved out a space for a printer that would free up desk/under my desk space. Unfortunately, I could not have a network cable fed through heavier furniture items so we purchased this as a solution. I was used to my simple HP M series, but the convenience of a wireless couldn't be beat. There is no front tray, which was an adjustment. Also, printing on various textured/label items took some figuring out. You need to select the right type of paper. For example, I printed on cardstock and the ink wouldn't "stick" and was pretty speckled. I used to select "medium weight" and it was fine on my previous printer, but it didn't work for this one. I selected "coarse" and it prints great. So a little learning curve. Also figuring out how to put labels in the tray is always a hassle and not super intuitive. Miraculously, this is just so easy, it's face up. Not flipped over and upside down as with most other printers. I have yet to print an envelope so I'm sure it'll be interesting.

When this printer is set up it works great without any issues. I needed to bring the printer with me and tried to set it up on another WiFi network. It is impossible without any support. Tried contacting hp and no response. Instructions says it’s possible but after 3 hours of trying I went out and bought a different brand printer and was printing within 2 minutes.

I was dreading setting up this printer, because there's always some issues. However, I was able to set it up with wifi in about 10 minutes with no cursing involved!

HP cripples the device unless you register it online, so don't get this if you don't have internet access. Next, HP has a new idiotic business model that requires chips on the toner that forces you to buy their cartridges instead of generics. It is actually cheaper for me to toss this into the trash and buy a Brother than it is for me to buy two HP toner cartridges. HP seems hell bent on ruining their printer business! Stay away!

I am tech savvy. This printer is very difficult to set up. It took a call to tech support for each computer I wanted to print from. Tech support was very helpful but warned at the start that it could take 20 minutes. To install the printer, you have to set up an HP account, where conveniently, you can sign up for automatic ink refills, all before you can print the test page.

The quality of the print is great. the printer is louder than I am accustomed to. What makes this printer a problem is the software that Hp wants you to use. I have had trouble with it printing depending what software I am printing from. I usually have to reboot the printer to print anything. Till they get the software bug free, I would not recommend this printer.
