I bought this product to replace my old 1737 Dell Studio Laptop so I can work from home and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. I was a Dell fan for many years and at first was hesitant to buy this HP Laptop, but ultimately decided to go for ir since it offered me a brand new machine with the screen size that I was used to, the latest software and processor generation available and more importantly a solid state drive. At this price I could only get older, used or refurbished laptops of this and other brands so it was a no brainer. I waited for about a year to purchase a new laptop and I'm glad I waited and found this one for under $700. I've been using this laptop for over 2 months now and I have no complaints whatsoever. Everything looks and works great, fast startup and shutdown and it doesn't get hot after many hours of continuous use. I bought a USB splitter and a lamp that I can place right over the keyboard and the lack of multiple USB ports and a back-lit keyboard was solved!!!

I am very pleased. I waited before I wrote a review to make sure everything was still good. Large screen, perfect keyboard, and very good clarity on screen. No DVD but that's okay because I already knew that and not worried. I bought a mouse to use with it and worked out great. You get free trial for mcafee and it's all setup. I decided to go with Norton but was happy it automatically starts with an anti-virus. Great price and if you are looking for a good lap top go with this one. I researched for days and I'm pleased I chose this one.

The laptop is as good as it is, nice and shine, brand new, config is fair relative to its price. wow, if I'd been a little more patient and wait till the BF sales, with the same price I could get a more advance model of the same series with fingerprint reader and double SSD space... well, not bad anyways

I've only had this a couple of weeks and I already like it. The functionality of this computer is great. It sees the peripherals right away and responds very quickly. I do not use this for work but I'm pretty sure its better than the one I use for work.

During set-up it became apparent the keys contained dimethyl phalate and diethyl phalate. These toxic compounds cause a mild irritation for most folks, and cause extreme inflammation and pain others. It was an easy decision to return the laptop, however we decided to try a keyboard cover. This one fits the HP 17-cn0025nr (and several others) - found on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YNM4V24?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 The K-board cover offers the additional advantages of a non-slip surface, spill protection, and makes the keys visible (in your choice of colors!). The Laptop does NOT include a disc drive. That is easily resolve with this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N48PQGF?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details In all other respects the laptop met our needs, which included capability for gaming on Steam.
