This cabinet organizer is absolutely wonderful. It was so easy to assemble and install and it is EXTREMELY STRONG AND DURABLE. I took out the half shelf in one of my base cabinets and installed two of these . I'm getting up there in years and it isn't so easy to get items from the top shelf inside my base cabinet. When I ordered this, I was expecting the same kind of quality wire that is used in most kitchen/closet organization items. This drawer set is much heavier and solid than that. I weighed the item before assembly and it weighed 16 lbs. Assembly wasn't difficult, but the slides are not clearly labeled as left/right, and the picture in the instructions is too small to see the differences in the ends (hint: all of the rubber stoppers need to face the same direction). I did have to swap two of the slides that I put on backward. It is a little tricky to get the screws started into the frame, but beyond that assembly is straightforward. Once it is together, be sure to put the drawers in to position it so the drawers slide out of the cabinet opening, then take the drawers out and screw the frame (I used two wood screws instead of the included ones) into your cabinet, then you're all set. We put all of the heavy items on the bottom, lighter items on the top but probably didn't need to. The drawers pull all the way to the end of the frame so you suddenly have access to the far reaches of cabinets you have never been able to access before. This unit ships completely unassembled and is quite overwhelming when you first get everything out to start to put it together.... BUT!!! Once you read the instructions and follow them, although it may be time consuming, it is an amazing shelf unit!!! I am a 62 year-young female with no building experience and I built this unit all on my own!! So PROUD!! This unit is extremely sturdy, very well built and I posted pictures all over Facebook after completing the installation because it truly is well worth the money. Not one piece was missing, no dents, no scratches, instructions completely thorough and easy to understand if you take your time and just do what they tell you to do. I installed 7 (two sizes). All had the proper amount to screws & nuts but I had two screws with messed up threads. Luckily, I've plenty of mechanical screws and locking nuts here. (The nuts that come in the packaging are not locking, but that is what I had for that size.) They seem sturdy and installation went smoothly. One word of caution for 14.5, that’s exactly what my cabinet opening measured, one assembled braces measured slightly wider than that, I had to assemble it in the cabinet (because I’d already secured other neighboring glidez). Wiggle all frames into a cabinets THEN secure them all. My biggest complaint is that they use too much plastic and styrofoam. I live in an area that doesn’t recycle plastic bags or styrofoam. I somehow doubt they are being packed in biodegradable cornstarch foam and would have been much happier with cardboard (recyclable in my area) or paper (biodegradation) packing material. ... show more

The rack is not as rock solid as the expensive brands but it accomplishes the task and is plenty sturdy for frequent use. It’s exactly what I needed to store my heavy pots and saucepans, slides open well and makes everything easily accessible at a reasonable price.

I've now purchased THREE of these units, to retrofit base cabinets in my kitchen. They're very nicely made: Holes for everything line-up nicely during assembly, they're sturdy, and nicely finished. The depth and width are *perfect* for a retrofit into existing base cabinets. Measure carefully, and be sure you take into account the clearance needed for the shelf to slide past the hinges. Also, check to be sure the depth of your cabinets will work. One of my cabinets had an electrical box at the back, and there was JUST enough clearance to get the rack in front of it and allow the cabinet door to close. So... the dimensions are very well thought out by the manufacturer. Assembly was very easy... just take your time and put in all those screws. I guess it's pretty clear I'm happy with these units... given that I bought 3 of them. Yes, highly recommended. ... show more
