I’ve had these sheets for less than a year. I only use them in the summer. I brought them out to use and after one wash a whole side has unraveled. These are not cheap to buy- I’m very disappointed

First I would like to state - in the picture, the light pink sheets are wrinkled from the packaging. The light pink color is a muted pink/lavender- similar to a light pink mauve. On the right, the light grey pillowcase is draped over the pillow - this pillowcase is part of the sheet set I washed! 🤣. I am picky and previously purchased high end 800 to 1000 thread count 100% cotton sheets. I purchased a Tempur-pedic memory foam topper ( with the cooling gel) this past January. Summer heat had me waking up to a sweat in the morning. I have never done this before. I needed a better solution. I did get a second small fan in the room and then tried bamboo! ( For both a mattress topper cover, a thin blanket, and sheets. It worked- no more sweating!! Whew!) 🤗. I tried four different bamboo sheet brands on Amazon- I think ranging from $40 -$75. These sheets are cool to touch and by far the softest and hands-down the silkiest- almost like satin. I can not over emphasize the cool to touch feeling that is sooo lovely in the summer! ( Another reviewer said her fur baby moved her comforter to touch these sheets- so cute and smart puppy, sure- because they are cooling!) 🤭😂. I thought these sheets were an appropriate weight or thickness. After reading some other reviews I was worried about the the issue of washing and creasing. I washed in cold water ( don’t know if temp matters). Then I believe it is important to immediately and individually remove each sheet from machine and shake good to release the twisted fabric and creases. Put in dryer accordion style on (low temp- not sure it matters- will update review after I play with dryer temp). Removed immediately when done and my sheets were virtually wrinkle free! ( They will retain folding creases- but they release quickly once on the bed. After I sleep,I may occasionally have a pillowcase crease, but not a lot and it relaxes during the day- it is minimal and doesn’t bother me. To the same point, my summer duvet set is a linen or linen cotton blend ( bought on clearance sale at Arhaus) and also has some wrinkles. To be clear, I do not work for this company, and I am serious - they were fabulous! So far I have purchased the light gray, light pink, sand and white. The colors are lovely. The light gray is a greige and it is fabulous coordinating color with multiple duvet sets. As another reviewer mentioned the white was slightly less soft than the colored sheets, (perhaps less processing ?) however they are still lovely. Now I want a nice vanilla ivory color- need more colors! As this other reviewer said, I agree I won’t buy another bamboo brand! :). Update 9-18-2023: Dryer Temp Matters! Needs to be low temp- otherwise fabric substantially wrinkles - on med temp, wrinkles were deep and number of wrinkles was high! ( It was not attractive and would not be comfortable to sleep with- enormous difference!). Low temp is virtually wrinkle free if you follow my instructions above! ;) ... show more

Loved almost everything about these sheets EXCEPT the fact that the top sheet was so short that we had to turn it sideways in order to use it; it was much wider than it was long. Why??? We have a California King bed, the package said the sheets were for Cal King but the top sheet did not fit as it was supposed to. Other than that the sheets are very nice, soft and cool and comfortable. ... show more

I love these sheets. This is the second set I’ve ordered. They are incredibly soft and cooling. The price for these is really good in comparison with other products. They also don’t get horribly wrinkled when washed. The “sand” is really ore of a cool taupe color and it’s really beautiful.

I've seen some reviews that mention 'rough' and 'scratchy'. I'm pretty sure they did not get the same sheet sets that I've bought. We purchased a new bed a little over a year ago and wanted to try bamboo sheets because we heard that they're cool. It gets hot and humid in Hawaii and I'm a hot sleeper. The mattress company tried to sell us their bamboo sheets, but they were $200. $100 if we bought with the bed. We declined and purchased a bamboo sheet set from 'Cosy House'. They were a disappointment. Not at all what I expected from bamboo sheets. 400 threadcount cotton is more comfortable than those. Then I saw these on Amazon. They were less than the cost of the sheets at the bed company (if we bought with the bed). I read the reviews and decided to try them. The sheets are very soft, smooth and are shiny on one side. They are HEAVY! Much heavier than cotton. Despite their weight, they are VERY cool to sleep on and under. If you dry them in a dryer, they come out wrinkle free. My wife washes the sheets a couple times a week and likes to hang dry the laundry, but even though it comes off the line with wrinkles from the clothespins, the wrinkles disappear after the first night's sleep. You cannot feel the wrinkles even on the first night's sleep. Our daughter has a queen size bed just like ours (our old bed actually) and she had a favorite sheet set. One day, we found that she made her bed with our spare HSD bamboo set (shucks! she found them!). Well... when my wife told her to strip the bedding so that she could wash the sheets our daughter replied. "I don't want you to wash the sheets! You're going to make my bed with the old sheets!". Oh well... check Amazon for a special offer at Hotel Sheets Direct (again)! They are strong and durable. When I make the bed, I deliberately tug on the corners hard to pull out the wrinkles (from line drying and to see if the sheets feel like they'll tear). They don't even come close to tearing. I'm pretty sure I would tear most cotton sheets. I perspire when I sleep. My perspiration stains most pillowcases. These pillowcases have not stained at all. Maybe because my wife washes them every other day. But that's a testament of how durable the material is too! You can't tell that (my) pillowcase has been washed twice as much as the sheets. The other thing I like about the pillowcases is that it's not just a 'sleeve' for the pillow. There's a pocket on the opening end of the pillowcase that you can tuck the pillow into. This hides the end of the pillow (in my case, the extra pillowcase to absorb my sweat). It's just a nice detail that I have not seen often. I've seen reviews that wish the company made duvet covers. They do! I purchased a duvet cover with a pair of sham covers and am very happy with them. The quality of these products are the same as the sheets. I also saw a review that said that the customer was charged a customs fee. I've purchased five sheet sets and a duvet / sham set (not because they've worn out or tore; I took advantage of special offers that were too good to pass up). For all six sets, I was never charged any customs fee and I'll remind you, we live in Hawaii. Amazon is our best friend! The company ships the sheets very quickly after you place the order. If you're patient, they have offers that are ridiculously good. You can get a set of these luxurious sheets for less that a cheap set of cotton/poly sheets at Walmart! ....But you have to be patient and watch for the specials... I hope this review helps any of you that are one the fence about buying these sheets. I CANNOT recommend them highly enough! We will sleep on nothing else... ever again...!!! ... show more
