This was a for my 3 year old who has older siblings. The garage feature is neat. He enjoys putting gas in all the cars. The ramp is simple but easy enough for him to do by himself. There’s no launch so the cars just fall down a small ramp to see the winner but it works every time and they have enough cars they enjoy seeing who the fastest is. You Can connect other track pieces to it at the bottom. It’s nice it folds up for storage and easy to use with all of his hot wheels. I bought this playset to be in my first youtube diecast racing video. I dedicate this purchase to livefree diecast youtube channel. Needs some modification and height. Not worth the new price imho there are better hot wheels starter sets with greater value. ( See my review for the drag race champion set ) My mods for this 1: remove finish line 2: add some dollar store straight track 3: I added 4 encyclopedia size books for elevation 4: tape finish line to end of track 5: race and have fun. ... show more

Got this for a soon-to-be four year old who loves hot wheels, and he LOVED it. It’s very easy to set up, as well as fold back up when you’re done playing. Plus it’s not overly-complicated for younger kids to race their cars. You simply put two on the track and press the flags to release them.

All of my kids, 2-8, love this! The 8 year old does elimination races with all of his cars to find the fastest; he and his younger sister pick cars to race each other; the 2 year old just likes sending them down the ramp. They've had it for about 5 months now and it still gets constant use. My one problem is that there's a little thing at the end of the ramp that tips a flag to show which car got there first. It kept sticking so that the car in the left lane would get slowed down or stopped entirely. I was able to take the finish line apart with a small screwdriver and remove it. ... show more
