I bought these for my daughters; although the package is lovely, I believe the overall quality is more suited for play. The pigment appears to be fine, but there is at least 50% fallout. This kit is an eyeshadow lover's dream! There are 120 different eyeshadow shades and 12 eye shimmer creams. There's literally every color under the rainbow in this thing. Along with the eyeshadows, you get 6 blushes, 2 face powder, 2 highlighters, 40 lip balms, 1 lipgloss, 1 mascara, 1 eye pencil, 1 lip liner, 2 lip brushes, 1 blush brush. There's everything you need for a full face of makeup, except for the cream face products, like primers, concealers and foundation. The quality is good, but not great. This is a good starter kit, but it's not a high end for older users. The pigmentation is good, but could be better. If you put enough layers on you can get a nice deep or bright color. It blends well, but doesn't last as long as I'd like. I did figure out that if you use an eyeshadow primer it'll last much longer. Overall this is a good quality set that's perfect for a beginner. I honestly got this set for my seven year old daughter who loves to play around with makeup. I wanted her to be able to use it when she wanted instead of me having to supervise every time with my more expensive makeup. I will say this was smaller than I though it was going to be. That being said there's lots of variety in this set. I did remove the mascara and eye liner since it was for my seven year old. This makeup kit is amazingly compact yet has SO many eyeshadow shades -120 - as well as 40 lip balm shades, some blush, face powders, and tools. It's easy to travel with unlike many of the other kits that are in metal boxes. This one really is basically for the person who loves eyeshadow. There are so many shades in every type of finish from light to very deep. The eye shimmer creams are great alone or over powder shadow. There is a nice variety of lip balm shades as well but they're not super pigmented nor long wearing. The blushes and highlighters suffice but are nothing special. The eyeshadows, though, are smooth and pretty good quality. They allow a person to experiment with shades and finishes, mix colors, and find the looks they love. I have been playing with the eye shadows and have found I like a number of shades that I never would have tried if I hadn't had this kit. I will buy higher quality singles of some shades now that I know how they look on me. For experimenting, this kit has it all for eyes and also some for lips and a few for the face. My tween nieces (11 & 12) are crazy about this makeup kit. The palette is not super large but it contains almost everything they need to experiment with makeup for the first time. A ton of different colors in small pots, more than enough to create hundreds of different looks. The colors are pigmented and we haven’t noticed any irritation after using these. I wish it came with a few larger brushes because the brushes that came with the kit are tiny. Great for a young girl starting makeup for the first time.
