These are wonderful shoes! I have long admired Hot Chocolate Design shoes, and have owned a pair of the pumps for about six months now. Because they are tall heels, I don't get to wear them out that often. I really wanted some Hot Chocolate Design shoes that I could wear more frequently. I had read some of the reviews about these shoes lacking arch support, and was a bit wary, but decided to just go for it anyway. I am so glad I did! I ordered the Carousel design shoes, because of their bright and vibrant colors! I was imagining that I could pull them off with many of my loose natural fiber pants, and that they would also look really cute with tights and dresses. They arrived two days ago, and I immediately started wearing them to my summer job running camps! I am a teacher, so I had to wear these to a job where I would be on my feet and moving around all day, so I could see if in the fall, when I go back to school, I would be able to spend the day in the Hot Chocolate Design Mary Janes. The answer is YES! I have pretty decent feet, so the lack of specific arch support does not bother me. They are padded and comfortable, and easy for me to spend the entire day running around in. What a statement shoe! I got so many compliments on how pretty and fun and unique my shoes are! The shoes do run a little large, so order accordingly. I normally wear a US size 8.5. I ordered an 8, and they are a little loose. They are not so loose that they are flipping off of my feet, though. With the strap, I have no problem with the shoes. They have a nice wide toe box, and the heel is soft, and does not rub against your Achilles tendon at all. No blisters! I found them to be incredibly comfortable, almost like running around with no shoes! I love these shoes, and will definitely be ordering more! I am going for one of the mismatched shoes, next! Thank you Hot Chocolate Designs for a super cool shoe!

Just received these shoes and not only are they super cute, they are soooo comfortable. Well made and love the quality of not only the shoes but the details from the box to the tags to the certificate of Authenticity, and they are vegan! I can't say enough about these shoes, except get a pair! So many patterns to choose from. You won't be disappointed!

These are seriously cute shoes--just right for Spring and Summer. That said, I have to acknowledge that they're pretty pricey for what comes in the carton. (They come in a milk-carton style shoebox, which is also very cute.) Without being judgey, it seems like what you're paying for when you buy these is the cute, chic fabric designs. And really, that's it. Because these shoes have no leather uppers, super-cushiony linings, or molded, impact-reducing heel cups; no waterproof this, suede that, or ergonomic the other thing. They're flat Mary Janes with a roomy, squarish toe box, a silvertone buckle, and silky fabric uppers stitched to a thin rubber sole. And, of course, they're completely adorable. When I got my first pair, it took me a couple days before I realized that they're freakishly similar to the embroidered silk Mary Jane flats I used to buy at a Chinese import store near my workplace when I was in college. They were just like these except that the toebox was round. They came in silk or cotton, and they cost about $10. The silk was really gorgeous for the price--perfect for a poor college student--and the embroidery made them look like a million bucks. But sadly, like all cheap things, they never lasted very long. If it rained, the silk showed every drop, and the color bled if your feet got sweaty. And now, whenever I look at my feet, I am reminded that my super-cute Hot Chocolate shoes are so very, very like those cheap, Chinese import store shoes in almost every respect but price. Pros/Cons: The soles are very thin, but flexible. The footbeds have -0- arch support, but since they are roomy and the strap is adjustable, I wear arch support insoles with them and that makes a huge difference in comfort. If you use orthotics with a highly cushioned heel cup that raises your heel up too much, you might have issues with the way these shoes rub your Achilles tendon. The prints and patterns are, of course, super cute, to which there is no down side. The toe box is very roomy, the stitching seems tight, and they seem to hold up well in a purely mechanical sense. Aesthetically, however, you need to baby these shoes a bit to keep them looking good--especially the paler designs. (They really seem to show dirt/scuffs, and the silky fabric doesn't wipe clean as easily as leather or fake leathers do.) So, with all that considered, why did I give them 5 stars? Because they're just that freakin' cute. Bottom line, I guess, is that if you go in knowing what you're getting for your money, you'll probably give these shoes 5 stars, too.

The shoes are super cute! I’ve been wanting a pair forever and when the opportunity to purchase came around, as part of a Disney bounding Halloween costume I jumped to buy a pair. Shoes were a little bigger/loose than I expected. But that wasn’t the issue, what was the issue was there was parts around the seems on top of my foot that dug into my feet and created sores that are finally almost gone 1 month and 10 days later. I had no show socks but the edging was right on my skin. If I had work ankle socks would have probably been ok, but they are Mary Jane’s and I was going for a look. I am keeping them, and will try with the socks. I’ve heard others rave about them being comfortable enough to walk Disney all day, so hopefully with socks they will workout!

The media could not be loaded. Overall these are very cute but there are a couple minor issues: 1) These shows scuff easily. However, they come with a scuff remover. You may need a magic eraser for some of the more stubborn marks 2) Be careful walking with the ketchup & mustard appliques. They can ben easily based on their placement & how you walk Overall though super cute, well made, & comfortable!
