First of all, I love the fact that this was a matching set and the color in the images looked really nice. The color is different, there's a lot more contrast going on between the light and dark. The leather is dry. I feel like these have been sitting around for a long time. The craftsmanship isn't that bad for the price. The headstall is enormous, it belongs on a draft horse. There is zero padding in the seat. The fleece on the underside resembles cheese whiz. Above all of these things however there was a horrendous odor of something resembling gasoline and Diesel coming from the saddle. The entire saddle was wrapped in plastic wrap inside of the box. Wherever this was manufactured was wrapped up in the plastic and released when I opened it up. I ended up closing it up in the laundry room before I could send it back. ... show more

This is such a beautiful saddle. The leather is so soft and love the way the stirrups adjust( I’m 5’3” so it is nice that I’m not dealing with extra leather with the fenders). The tooling is beautiful and the details are everywhere! Beautiful! The bottom of the saddle is soft and cushy. This whole set is exactly what I was wanting. It fit my quarter horse very well and weighs around 30 lbs. Shipping was accurate and arrived in perfect condition. This is a wonderful set, very satisfied with this purchase.
