  • 15 mph on gravel and ice is nothing
The media could not be loaded. First of all, trying to get this thing on totally sucked. Well, the worst part was getting the other one off. After a disastrous few hours for me and my roommates, I suggest you pay close attention to the float life tutorials on YouTube (the one that finally worked was the one meant for a GT tire). In case you’re wondering, you won’t be able to cut all the way through with a knife it to get it off, even if you heat the blade, so don’t try like my roommate decided to do. You can’t (or shouldn’t) do this without tire levers, a pump, slime, t20 and t30 torx for disassembly and reassembly, and mounting lubricant (a lot of people use water with some dish soap in it). All of that was probably no more than 30 bucks at Walmart. The slime will probably have a tool in the cap for pulling the valve stem to deflate the tire. The beads I guess are supposed to pop at around 65 psi and I was too scared to keep waiting when it got to 80 so I took it to commercial tire with low hopes and they actually installed it for free! The first thing I noticed when riding this is how it’s definitely louder than the slick tire. Apparently due to the weight and grip you’ll also get 5-10% less range. For me, this isn’t a problem. I live in Rexburg and took it right out to an icy patch that’s probably going to be in my way to class for most of the school year and it felt just like normal dry asphalt. It only slid a little bit when I ride over loose snow, but I barely had to slow down at all to feel stable again. In the end it works great. I also took it on a gravel path and didn’t feel unstable at all! I took off the splash guard for the video and gravel sprayed all over the place so you might wanna keep that on. ... show more

  • Fits OneWheel Pint
Ordered for my OneWheel pint. Pretty easy to change. It did take almost 100 PSI to seat both beads. It rides great. Noticeably more grippy off-road but a bit louder on road.
