    • You get what you pay for. In this case, peace of mind and a cap that work.
First of all, it was original manufacturer equipment, a genuine Honda radiator cap, rather than the knock-off garbage that AutoZone sold me. That AutoZone garbage is actually trashed in several Amazon reviews. I was kind of shocked when I realized that was the cap AutoZone sold me. What are they thinking? It makes me reluctant to buy parts at AutoZone. I originally wanted to buy a different cap, because there are ones available here at half the price for what I paid at AutoZone, but after reading the reviews and the descriptions, I became leery about buying them. Paying half wouldn't do me much good if it didn't work and I ended up having to buy multiple caps. I finally noticed this genuine Honda part. Though it was more than twice as much as the other caps I was looking at, I decided to go with it. Even at that price, though, it was only a couple bucks more than the AutoZone knock-off, so it could still be considered a bargain, considering what it is. The cap fit perfectly (which I guess you'd expect, being a genuine Honda part) and it works. The fluid isn't overheating and boiling anymore, as it sometimes was with the knock-off. And the radiator fluid reservoir is now working properly, which I don't think it was with the knock-off. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. ... show more

Brought this radiator cap to replace a worn out one. It is an o.e.m replacement, fits as expected, price point is great, quality as normal for a oem brand, easy to install and haven't noticed any leaks. Happy that it arrived fast and no need to drive to a dealer.

The cap was a direct fit The package was marked Honda Parts. The old cap had failed, it came apart inside the radiator, you would have never known that it was broken unless you take the cap off and look at it.....Since you don't add water via the radiator cap, it was something that could have been broken for years and not known.... This works great for the Denso radiator that is in most 05-07 Accords. Needed one that would fit the replacement radiator I bought, because I found out that the Valeo and Denso radiators don't have the same cap. Seems to be working well so far, keeping the fluid in. No complaints.
