This is a beautiful bookcase that fits our space perfectly. The weigh limit is also great since we do have some heavy books and want something that will last without having to worry about bowing. My only advice, if you order this, is to look for manufacturing defects. We had one where the holes didn't line up on only one side of one set of the standing rails. Just put these together today with my husband. The instructions were pretty good, but could have been a little more explicit regarding how to join the braces on the back in the middle. It's a little awkward to assemble the vertical supports at first, but once you get the first shelf in place, it gets a lot easier. And the hardware was very well packaged and organized. I have been looking for the best way to organize my fiance's pops in our new apartment. The bottom line...he has too many for a small apartment. I have been looking everywhere, online and in stores, for a good solution to organize these pops. I finally found this shelf and did the math: each section can hold 6 pops across and 3 pops back = a total of 18. There are 10 sections so that's about 180 pops total (and we are talking about basic-sized pops). We have more than a couple board games and our two smaller shelves weren’t cutting it on their own. Ordered this beast and it’s a game changer (pun intended). It fits so many board games and we still have room for more. It made our collection somehow look small. Was worried about how the faux-gold would look and thought it may have to be painted but it’s a lovely darker gold and not very blatantly fake yellow gold. The shelves are very sleek as well, and are doing a great job holding up a lot of games. No buckling even from the shelves that are completely filled. And for the behemoth that it is, it was probably one of the easiest shelves/cabinets I’ve yet assembled. It looks good if fake wood doesn't bother you. We needed it for a small second home. The fake wood isn't enough support for real books, so keep those near the ends. One of these days, when I have time, I'll replace the shelves with real wood and it will look halfway decent. Otherwise, it is what it is. ... show more

Love how tall and sturdy this piece is. It was easy to assemble and looks fabulous! I sell crystals and needed more shelving to display and store. This did the trick. I’m considering getting 2 or 3 more for the display room.
