I purchased 3 and held my breath hoping they lived up to so many positive reviews. They did and more! I read one negative complaint where the woman was unhappy with the flowers and went to the dollar store to get fake flowers? Don’t believe it. Personally I think she got intimidated and decided it was EASIER to buy some cheapie flowers. When I say intimidated, let me explain. There are no instructions and those of us not so crafty CAN look at projects and walk away. If you want beautiful faux planters, BUY these and write down these ( or others) instructions. You will laugh when you realize how EASY the set up is. WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOX: 1. Take out one basket, one green green plastic, one styrofoam and 4 packs of flowers. Make sure you do this outside or as in my case, I did it on an old sheet for ease of cleanup inside. 1a. Open each pak of flowers and pull flowers apart and set aside. (THIS makes set up SO fast and easy) 2. Put the styrofoam inside the basket, round side up 3 . Put one green plastic piece over the styrofoam 4. Start putting individual flowers brought the holes in the green plastic and into the styrofoam. At first, you find some pieces hard to get in BUT then realize it gets easy as you do NOT need to push flower stems in far for them to be stable. Stand back and be AMAZED how pretty and real your plant looks. As I mentioned, if you at first feel ANY intimidation as to “ how do I make this into a nice plant” - just “ jab” each stem anywhere you want. They send SO many flowers for each planter making it truly foolproof. I worried about my first, which took me about 20 minutes, and then I realized that was WAY too long. The next two, took no longer than 6 minutes to assemble....honest!

THEY ARE VERY PRETTY AND NO WATERING INVOLVED. WE ARE GONE ON WEEKENDS SO THERE IS NO NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE COME AND WATER THE FLOWERS.

I was very reluctant to purchase these due to the DIY assembly. However, I was able to put 2 baskets together in about 30 minutes and they turned out really nice without a lot of rearranging. Some areas of the Styrofoam seemed a little difficult to puncture. However, holding the flower stems towards the bottom helped to eliminate that problem. One reviewer suggested opening the flowers and laying them out before beginning the assembly. I would agree with that. Look for the longer stems to use on the edges next to the baskets as to bend them down to create a hanging effect for some of the flowers. I did have a few loose flowers that had fallen off the stems when I opened the bundles.

As soon as I opened the box, I packed it up to be returned. I had ordered two baskets from two different companies. The flowers for this basket are tiny compared to the other company’s basket.

There should be more flowers included to make the arrangement look more full. Also more long stemmed flowers needed to enable them hanging down over the rim.
