This is a beautiful addition to our kitchen breakfast area. The colors are perfect for our white / green kitchen with the fallen brown pine needles in the background - couldn't match better! It is very sturdy - a minor bump is not going to knock off any of the orbs or disconnect any of the rods. It comes with both nails and screws/drywall anchors for mounting. I used the nails, which conveniently hit a crossbeam and so are rock solid in the wall. Oh, and it does a great job of covering the area where the nails or screws go into the wall (see caveat 1 below). We couldn't be more pleased with how this looks! Installation caveats: 1) Be careful how you align the mounting nails or screws. Mr. Engineer here perfectly measured where the holes should be, based on the width of our windows, the distance between the holes in the sculpture, and approximately halfway between the top and bottom of the space we mounted it in. Alas, the sculpture was slightly crooked when hung - the long, horizontal center rod to which the mounts are attached was slightly bent, so those perfectly horizontal holes resulted in a not-quite-perfectly-horizontal sculpture. Toothpicks and wood putty for repair, and then a slightly lower left nail location came out very well. I may not even bother to repaint that spot - the sculpture hides the mounting area really well. 2) The two longest vertical rods are not exactly centered relative to the mounting points (and I'm guessing this might vary from sculpture to sculpture). On a typical wall installation, this would be no problem at all - only if centering it in a narrow mounting area like the one we have would this matter.
