I bought the set mainly for one brush, the black handled brush with the rounded head. I got it to clean out my mesh strainers. I figured for $8 for the pack if it did turn out to be a garbage set I wasn't out too much, and I could return them and get a brand name like Oxo if needed. I unpacked all the brushes last night and they are really sturdy. The bristles seem nice and tight and weren't shedding at all. My husband brews beer and used the long bottle brush that night on his flask for doing yeast starters and it was long enough to get clear to the bottom and scrubbed everything right out. The amount and variety of brushes is a fantastic value. I thought I only needed two out of the set but this one was inexpensive so I figured I may need one of the others eventually. I ended up reaching into my bag of tricks multiple times in just the first week, it’s great when you are cleaning and realize you have a perfect tool for the job that you didn't have before. Its made things so much easier from cleaning out the thermal coffee carafe and grinder, to the greasy turkey baster tube and now we have a dedicated brush to scrub out around the tops of the sink drains, this has been a better purchase than I first realized. You get a lot of different, handy brushes with this set. I got these mainly to clean my 40 ounce insulated bottle. The long-handled brush easily fits inside the bottle and has a long enough handle to reach the bottom. The smaller brushes are great for cleaning out the cap's threads, which always get nasty and are typically not easy to clean. The smaller, wire brushes are great for straws etc. ... show more

I was truly expecting some flimsy cleaning brushes. Similar to ones you might find in a dollar tree where the plastic bristles easily fall off after scrubbing. I've been regularly using the bottle brush, and it's like a little study toilet brush lol It might be better than our toilet brush actually, but I will not be testing it out on our toilet any time soon. I haven't used all of them yet, but they all seem well made, and for $9.99, that's not bad honestly. Now what would make it even more amazing is if all the materials were eco friendly, but alas... Most of these brushes are okay. I bought them with the hopes I could clean my 16 oz bottles that I use for making soda and kombucha. Unfortunately, the largest brush isn't quite wide enough for the width of the bottle at it's widest point. So a lot of bending takes place to get the brush to reach those areas. I don't expect I can keep bending it that way before it breaks. Two of the brushes are just garbage. Plastic sticks with foam attached to them seem as if they were and engineers afterthought. ... show more
