I’m an old lady who wore high heels too long. Had two unsuccessful bunion surgeries and my feet used to hurt most of the time. My podiatrist suggested these and I’m so happy. The quality is grand. The toe box is large enough for icky bunions. Amazingly they do not look like clown shoes like other brands I have tried. I wear one pair around the house as slippers to prevent the pain I feel when I try to walk barefoot. I ordered black, but they look more like dark blue to me. That’s my only complaint. Reviewed July 22nd United States. Size 10.5 Black and White To begin, I had two surgeries on my right foot. First one to fix bunion and a middle hammer toe. I had the same on my left foot 7yrs ago and it went great. Dr. retired and went to a new one. Had a new surgery called Lapiplasty. The hardware, (which I didn’t have on my left ft) came apart and gave me an infection. 2nd surgery was removing the hardware. It left me with nerve damage everywhere and still have a hammer toe which is yet worse. I have purchased the best of the best for two years and had to send most of them back. I will always have nerve damage pain, but these shoes have given me more relief than I have had for 2years. Even though my right ft. hurts sometimes, I can say these shoes are extremely comfortable. My good foot loves them. They are very cute also. I thought I probably needed a 10.5 Wide, but the 10.5 fit perfectly. Wide enough in the toe box, light weight, cushy and they are well worth the price! I have never given a review, but if you’re looking for cute and very comfortable comfortable for walking, buy these! I’m so impressed with the Clifton 9s. I’ve logged over 50 miles in these, primarily on asphalt and city sidewalks, and they feel like a significant upgrade from the 8s. HOKA successfully made this version noticeably lighter while adding more stack height. The cushioning is perfectly balanced—soft enough to absorb impact on my long runs (10+ miles) but still responsive, so I don't feel like I'm sinking. The major pro is the incredible weight-to-cushion ratio; they truly feel like a high-mileage workhorse. The early-stage Meta-Rocker transition is buttery smooth. My main con is that the standard toe box still runs slightly narrow; runners with wider feet should definitely opt for the wide version. Minor issue: the laces are excessively long. Despite that small flaw, I wholeheartedly recommend the Clifton 9 for anyone needing a comfortable, reliable daily trainer. They are a five-star shoe and have earned a permanent spot in my rotation. ... show more

I highly suspect these shoes are counterfeit. All my other Hoka shoes come clean when I wash the bottom of the shoes. These shoes do not. I think it is a good counterfeit, in that the number inside the box matches the number on the shoes. It these 4 pairs are showing massive wear in a small period of time, along with the bottoms of the shoes being uncleamable-my nose says they are not real. I have begun purchasing from the Hoka sight. Much better quality. The shoe on the left has been washed the same number of times as the shoe on the right. The shoe on the left comes clean, the shoe on the right does not.
