I’m an old lady who wore high heels too long. Had two unsuccessful bunion surgeries and my feet used to hurt most of the time. My podiatrist suggested these and I’m so happy. The quality is grand. The toe box is large enough for icky bunions. Amazingly they do not look like clown shoes like other brands I have tried. I wear one pair around the house as slippers to prevent the pain I feel when I try to walk barefoot. I ordered black, but they look more like dark blue to me. That’s my only complaint. I can't believe these shoes. I never write reviews but I really felt the need to with these. I had hip busitis, IT band pain on my right leg. I had been a loyal Brooks customer for years (I run A LOT). These shoes have made walking pain free. I am so mad I didn't try them before getting injured. I love these Hoka tennis shoes and for my plantar faciitis and foot pain, they really do help a lot. My foot Doctor recommends getting tennis shoes one size larger than I normally would wear so I did, and they fit perfectly! I also love the color and the variety for my selection.

Got these to wear at work, where I do a lot of standing on concrete & lightly matted carpeting, 1st couple of days my feet really hurt after work. After a week or so of wearing and standing my feet don't hurt as much. These are great for daily walking just wish they were slip-ins instead of string ups. Don't particularly care for the thick sole bottom, insole could be better (more cushion would be great). Will wear a bit more and give an update. ... show more

I thought they were a little too light, I usually were a 7 1/2 wide. Maybe they were not a "wide" width. That is why I returned them and will try a half size larger.
