Very cute. A slightly more ridged sole than my other Hokas, but comfortable just the same- not as bouncy. Also a bit narrower than other styles of Hoka. Took off one star for the tighter fit. I need to start by saying they were delivered very quickly and I had no issues at all with the seller. They were awesome! The only nice thing I can say about the shoes is that they look nice in the box. They feel thin and cheap. But my biggest complaint is the injury to my foot from wearing them for a day! I tried them on the day before and they felt great (I was very surprised by how thin and cheap the material felt, but they seemed very comfortable)! I was excited thinking that I had finally found a really comfortable shoe. I’m on my feet a lot, so comfortable shoes are a must! But I have never been fooled so much! I went to work wearing these, 2 hours into my 10 hour shift I was limping! They offered no support and actually made my foot feel like I was walking on the outside of it. Initially I thought maybe I just needed to get used to the shape of the shoes or something. There is a sort of strap thing that is attached from the tongue around the foot and attaches to the sole of the shoe. I think that is a running shoe thing. I am not a runner, but I have some running shoes for work. In my Brooks, that strap is super soft and and a fairly stretchy. In the Hokas, for some reason, the material has no give at all and the shape of the shoe was, in fact, causing me to walk on the outside of my foot. That unforgiving strap attached to the tongue was absolute torture! The weird part (although I’m thankful for this) is that the causing me to walk on the outside of my foot only happened on one side. The damage working 10 hours in those caused was a 3” wide bruise on the outside of my foot from just under the outside edge of my foot all the way to where the weird strap attached to the tongue. I wore the shoes to work on Monday, and on Thursday morning, I am still sore walking on it. I learned a couple of things with this purchase, 1- premium price does not always mean premium product and 2- bring the Brooks as a backup plan the next time I try another brand of running shoes for work! These are definitely going back! I would have brought them back sooner if I wasn’t still limping! ... show more
