I have just ordered a new pair of these and I know there are many comments about durability and you never know what shoe you're getting if it's a bad egg or not I have had such good luck with the Clifton8's and I am so sad that they're getting really hard to find because they now have the Clifton9's, and I don't like the 9's nearly as much as the 8's. I had a septic knee joint two years ago well more like 2 1/2 years ago and was looking for shoes that would be more comfortable because after the infection went away my knee is just not the same and I needed a comfortable pair of shoes. When I tell you the first time I put on my shoes of these, they were so comfortable it felt like walking on a cloud and I'm not joking. I have gone to the zoo with my kids for the whole day, I've gone hiking, and all sorts of different things and my feet do not hurt at all at the end of the night, and if you know, you know that pain at the end of the night when your feet hurt with every step you take is horrible and I have not had that at all with these shoes. I have wore them every single day I kid you not for 2 1/2 years besides, the few times, I would wear my cantaloupe, color, Clifton8's to go with certain outfits so same exact shoe just a different color, but I have used the black shoes with the white accents on it every day and the only reason I need new ones is that the inside by the heel is starting to wear on the fabric and I am very sensitive to it rubbing it doesn't hurt, but I don't like the unevenness as a texture person. It bugs me, but the actual soul of the shoe and on the inside of the shoe on the bottom are still amazing and I still will probably use them around the house, but not for like going and doing things for a whole day that would be a lot of walking on my feet. I hope this review makes sense I am using my phones microphone because as I am making this I am also making dinner for my family, so if you were debating getting these shoes and we're going through the reviews and see so many about them not lasting or something I have had multiple and they are awesome and my first pair have finally worn down to needing a new pair for my own comfort. These shoes are very worth it! Now remember the Clifton8's are getting harder to find with the Clifton9's being the newer version of the Clifton series and they are not the same as the 8's although Hoka would like to tell you that they are new and improved, they do not feel the same but again to each their own. Everyone is different and Hoka has so many different types of shoes for so many different types of feet and what you need to use your shoes for. Just like any other brand, they can always be a bad egg, meaning that most people get pairs that are great and that one pair just doesn't last l as long as other peoples, and in that case I would reach out to Hoka because they're pretty good at customer service. Now I'm not sure about buying it on Amazon and what they would do but it's worth reaching out. I hope that this very long review (sorry) helped somebody and deciding if they want to spend the money on these shoes. As a mom of two young girls 8 years old, and 5 years old, and being a immune compromised person who is sick all the time going in and out of hospitals all the time. I had stage four cancer as a teenager, so that kind of gives you an idea of how often I have to go to the doctors and walk around these hospitals and these shoes are unmatched in my opinion. I hope this helps sorry again for the super long review I didn't want to miss anything because I wish I would've found a review that was down to the nitty-gritty and explained in full context. As for the price of the shoes, I am not someone who has extra money to just throw away on shoes that aren't good so coming from somebody who does not have a ton of money. These are worth it because they do last and you're not going to have to buy new shoes as frequently at least that was for my case. These shoes feel great!! I had tried other name brand shoes and my feet always hurt! My sister and brother in law bought some Hoka's and so did a co-worker, they raved about them so much that I bought some too. I am not disappointed one bit!!! They are amazing!!! Feels like walking on a cloud and they have amazing arch support!! My feet feel great after standing/walking on concrete floors all day! I'm staying with this brand for sure!!

I have purchased nice shoes but never with such good support as a pair of Hokas. I recently was diagnosed with diabetes. But I stopped walking actively since the pandemic because my feet hurt terribly. I also developed bad bunions with age. Nothing worked until these Hokas. They are light and yet walking in them feel like pillows supporting the toes as well as the entire foot. My daughter had to buy a pair too because she noticed I was walking faster than her when I was usually trailing far, far behind. I was also able to match if she sped up. She was convinced it was the shoes. I hope this company develops dress shoes that can also be as supportive as workout shoes but also can have sleek classic styles and colors. The downside is that it is very pricey. I hope the price can be made more affordable for everyone without compromising on quality.

I was disappointed that the insole makes the arch area of the shoe uncomfortable. It seems to be made too thick. I have only worn them a few times so I'm hoping this will go away as the shoes are broken in more. I do have flat feet so if a person has regular arches or high arches this may not even be an issue for them. The shoes are extremely light like the description says. They are so cute I had to keep them and hope for the best as I wear them a while!

Ortho recommended this shoe for transitioning from 6 weeks in a boot (broken foot). I ordered 1/2 size larger to accommodate swelling that still occurs when standing or walking. And I have an extremely high arch. Good support, easy to walk, sole absorbs alot of pressure away from foot. Arch support is fantastic. No problem with heel being too narrow like others have stated and I'm a solid 6.5 B, no narrow anywhere on my foot. Only have a problem after several hours due to swelling pushing against lace up. But that's not a negative on the shoe. I just undo laces and it's fine. Very light shoe. I'd buy this again as regular tennis shoe in my regular size. I usually wear Asics. And both brands are good for support. The material looks similar to my Asics and I wash those in washer with an air dry. So I'll probably wash these too when needed. If any improvement , the laces could be longer. But, hey, I'm probably the only adult on the planted that still double ties the bow.

I work in healthcare and am on my feet all day. I also love to vacation in Walt Disney World where I can in one day walk over 37,000 steps. I have had two foot surgeries and needed a well made shoe with great support. HOKA sneakers came highly recommended by my husband, athletic friends, and coworkers. I finally made the investment into these expensive sneakers. I ordered them on February 6, 2023. I received them on February 8, 2023. They began to fall apart just 3 months later. The sole of the shoe is falling apart, The black part of the sole hangs off causing a trip hazard and once it fell off or was cut off, the step of the shoe now feels funny and uncomfortable. I don't expect sneakers to last forever, no matter how much you spend, but I have NEVER had a sneaker fall apart after only 3 months. When I voiced my concerns by Amazon message, I heard nothing. I reached out through Chat and was told I was outside of the return policy. I understand that, but 3 months?!?!!? That is unacceptable!!!!

These shoes are ultra supportive. They are easy to clean( use baking soda and dish soap for spot cleaning). They can also be washed. They endure well for 10 hours of walking , stair climbing, and bike riding on concrete. They are extremely lightweight,and have not slipped once on wet floors. They are a bit pricey but so far well worth it. Due to extra cushioning, order half size up.
